Buddhist poetry edit removal edit

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for creating an account and I noticed you've asked a question at the help desk. The reason why I removed your addition recently to the Buddhist poetry article was because you had not cited any references, causing me to think it was original research or vandalism. I use a software to quickly undo vandalism, which also leaves an automated message on the editor's talk page. Perhaps the message left on your talk page was not the most accurate and I should've left a personalized note to let you know why I had undone your edit. Content added to articles needs to be cited with reliable source(s) so it may be verifiable by others who are not familiar with its legitimacy. As an editor who is unfamiliar with the Buddhist poetry topic, from a glance your edit seemed like vandalism. I apologize for that and I hope you will continue to edit here because your contributions help make Wikipedia better. Regards and please ask the help desk (or leave {{Help me}} on your talk page with a question) if you've any more questions. The editor whose username is Z0 13:02, 16 June 2018 (UTC)Reply

About Wikipedia's policies and guidelines edit

I was reading your last reply in the help desk topic you initiated. I have to point out two things: 1. You are welcomed to try to change Wikipedia's policies and guidelines if you want (read WP:WPEDIT), and 2. Primary sources can actually be used in a limited, judicious way (read WP:PRIMARY). Cheers!
