Why did you not take the time to notify me of a GA Reassessment
editCurious why you did not take the time to notify me on my user talk page of a GA Reassessment of an article that I had principally helped contribute to get to WP:GA quality status? — Cirt (talk) 17:05, 29 April 2013 (UTC)
- That's the idea of the talk page notice Anyone who visits the talk page can see it. Also it would be on your watchlist. I didn't know I had to notify every contributor. Is there a tool for that? nerdfighter 17:34, 29 April 2013 (UTC)
- Did you bother to take the time to read the WP:GAR instructions? They instruct you to notify contributors to the article. Did you see that instruction? — Cirt (talk) 18:36, 29 April 2013 (UTC)
- Thanks for another friendly message Cirt I am new to Good Article Reassessments, so I thought the notice on the talk page was enough to notify you. Sorry for me misunderstanding ..Again, is there a tool to notify every contributor, or do I have to post a message to everyone I find on the history? nerdfighter 21:08, 29 April 2013 (UTC)

- I usually check to make sure contributors and wikiprojects have been notified when I come across the reassessments, but this one must have slipped my mind. The easiest way is to use this tool [1]. You have to use your judgement with some articles as to who is the "significant" contributor, but with this one it is pretty obvious that it is just Cirt. Same goes with the Wikiprojects, if there are lots then I would not notify those who give it a low priority. In this case as there are only two I would have advised both of them. We also ask that the GA nominator (usually a major contributor, but not always) and the GA reviewer (usually found by clicking on the last GA review) are notified too. I know it is a lot of work, but usually somoene has put a lot of effort into getting an article to the required standard and we should at least give them a chance to save it. It is also a better result improving the article than delisting it. To make it easier we have a template {{subst:GARMessage|''ArticleName''|page=''n''}} that you can copy-past on the talk pages.
- As for further progress as the editor that opened the individual reassessment you are expected to close it. Individual reassessment are like GA reviews in reverse, whereas community ones are more like RFCs which are closed by consensus. You can close the individual one anyway you want, but I would advise taking into account the other comments there. It is highly likely that if it is delisted then someone will take it to community reassessment and looking at the general discussion I would be surprised if it wasn't relisted. editHey, I was perusing the CVU sight looking for an icon/logo like only with CVUA or CVU/A in it and I noticed that you haven't updated yourself on the Instructor list lately... Makes me wonder if you are ashamed of Lee, World, and I... J/K Technical 13 (talk) 22:40, 30 April 2013 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for May 2
editHi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Nabilla Benattia, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Downfall (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hey T13
editI have a question for you Technical 13 The "ask a question" button at {{TH question page}} needs extra javascript to work right? I mean, it can't go on just any talk page? nerdfighter 23:20, 6 May 2013 (UTC)
- I'm pretty sure it works without JavaScript.
Test of button right above
editYou could even add parameters to give it a default Subject/headline, default text/input box content, and/or default edit summary. Technical 13 (talk) 23:34, 6 May 2013 (UTC)
- True, true. I meant, can it only "pop up" on the TH page with javascript? nerdfighter 23:48, 6 May 2013 (UTC)
- Yes, that is Writ's Teahouse Utility JavaScript. To be honest, I'm working on writing my own version of the because I don't like the fact I can't right click to fix spelling errors. LOL Technical 13 (talk) 00:17, 7 May 2013 (UTC)

editHi, Nerdfighter. I'm finishinh up everything, except for the CSD. I can't find two things to tag and I can't create two articles good enough at the time, but bad enough so that it meets at least one criterion for SD. What should I do? Thanks for the CVUA.
