Re: King Mathers edit

Hi, you know the "nanananana" at the bottom of the article which didn't show up in the code. I found out that somebody added it to the top of Eminem's artist template which is why it didn't show up in the King Mathers article. Just thought i'd let you know!. --¤ The-G-Unit-฿oss ¤ 21:30, 25 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

Wikifying sources edit

Hi, can you please tell me where you found the information as how to wikify sources (as you have done to Pimp C. Thanks. --Zimbabweed (talk) 21:48, 5 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

Window Shopper (disambiguation) edit

Hi, I deleted the disambiguation page you made per Wikipedia:D#What not to include. Disambiguation pages aren't search indices and they're only needed if there's multiple articles that use the same name. Thanks! Spellcast (talk) 14:46, 14 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

I need Help edit

{{helpme}} I've seen that my username appears in this page. Please somebody can explain me what it means. Thank you. Vacanzeromane (talk) 21:09, 28 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

It means that you linked a link from mtv.com, as shown in this diff. [1]

What it means... I am not entirely sure, but hazard a guess, the bot is checking possible COI edits, I don't think it will come to anything.--KerotanLeave Me a Message Have a nice day :) 21:15, 28 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

It appears that this bot is tracking the addition of certain external links to articles, so that a human can follow up and determine if they are spam links, and spot trends. It appears to have been triggered by this edit where you add a link to www.mtv.com. I don't think you have anything to worry about. Bovlb (talk) 21:45, 28 January 2008 (UTC)Reply
No problem anytime.--KerotanLeave Me a Message Have a nice day :) 21:49, 30 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

December 2008 edit

  When adding links to material on an external site, as you did to Don't Leave Home, please ensure that the external site is not violating the creator's copyright. Linking to websites that display copyrighted works is acceptable as long as the website's operator has created or licensed the work. Knowingly directing others to a site that violates copyright may be considered contributory infringement. This is particularly relevant when linking to sites such as YouTube, where due care should be taken to avoid linking to material that violates its creator's copyright. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously, and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If you believe the linked site is not violating copyright with respect to the material, then you should do one of the following:

  • If the linked site is the copyright holder, leave a message explaining the details on the article Talk page;
  • If a note on the linked site credibly claims permission to host the material, or a note on the copyright holder's site grants such permission, leave a note on the article Talk page with a link to where we can find that note;
  • If you are the copyright holder or the external site administrator, adjust the linked site to indicate permission as above and leave a note on the article Talk page;

If the material is available on a different site that satisfies one of the above conditions, link to that site instead. Moonriddengirl (talk) 20:22, 30 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open! edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
