AuctionPlayer deleton edit

Alexa rankings, hits, page views, and the like aren't in themselves sufficient to establish a basis for a Wikipedia article. Please read our standards for notability of web-based content, our general notability guideline, and what constitutes a reliable source. Generally, we'd like to see non-trivial coverage in multiple independent reliable sources, so that we can be assured of a neutral point of view based on those sources. Also, since you appear to be involved with the company, I advise you to read our behavioral guideline for dealing with conflicts of interest. In short, the article was deleted for failing to show that these sources exist at the time of deletion.

Even if you include the radio appearances, if those are purely interviews (instead of third-party reviews), those would not count as third-party sources because the material wouldn't be independent of Auctionplayer.

I hope that this clarifies some of the issues with the article. — TKD::Talk 07:48, 2 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion of "Ecommerceplayer" edit

A page you created, Ecommerceplayer, has been tagged for deletion, as it meets one or more of the criteria for speedy deletion; specifically, it is about a website, but it does not indicate how it is important or significant, and thus why it should be included in an encyclopedia. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and the guidelines for websites in particular.

You are welcome to contribute content which complies with our content policies and any applicable inclusion guidelines. However, please do not simply re-create the page with the same content. You may also wish to read our introduction to editing and guide to writing your first article.
