Thank you for the welcome message and the links! I was actually asked by HDLU to update the Mestrovic Pavilion article, but I would like to create some new articles on Croatian art and artists on my own time. I will keep you in mind if I need some guidance. Umjet (talk) 14:00, 11 March 2014 (UTC)Reply

Meštrović Pavilion edit

Hi there! I had a quick look at the Meštrović Pavilion article and I appreciate your contribution very much. The article has greatly improved - thanks!

Since you invited pointers at WT:CRO, here are a few: external links should not be used as inline links - external links should always be used in a dedicated section (see WP:ELPOINTS. There's one bit of prose that's confusing: "At that time, sculptor Ivan Meštrović, then the president of Art Society Strossmayer, was given the task to create a sculpture in honor of King Peter I for the Square of Saint Peter (Trg kralja Petra) in Zagreb." - now Sq of Saint Peter would be Trg Svetog Petra rather than Trg kralja Petra. I assume one version of those is accurate, but which one?

Also, could you provide references to those few unreferenced paragraphs left in the article?

Finally, regarding the introductory paragraph - it should serve as a brief summary of the article (see WP:LEAD) and it should not contain information other than that presented in the rest of the article. If that is the case, it need not have any references at all (assuming that the information presented in the summary is referenced in the main body of the article).

Overall, the article reads nicely and it is informative now. Good work!--Tomobe03 (talk) 14:04, 11 March 2014 (UTC)Reply

This is great, thanks so much for reading the article and for these suggestions. I will double check on the Square of Saint Peter question. Thank you for pointing that out. I'll also add some additional references.
I'm not sure I understand your suggestion about the introductory paragraph, as it does not have currently have any references. Are you suggesting that it includes extra information that is not in the body? Perhaps I am overlooking something. Thanks again for your help! Umjet (talk) 14:31, 11 March 2014 (UTC)Reply
Oh, no. I meant that as a general remark - for future reference - because you referenced the initial paragraph as an "introduction" someplace (in an edit summary, I think). There's no problem I saw with this particular lead paragraph.--Tomobe03 (talk) 20:58, 11 March 2014 (UTC)Reply
Ok, great, thanks again for your help! Umjet (talk) 13:11, 12 March 2014 (UTC)Reply
