second opinion on Angolan musicians

Not sure what to do with Angolan musicians which has been tagged for cleanup for 6 years now. Should it be renamed to List of Angolan musicians? Should it be prodded or sent AFD since the category:Angolan musicians does the job better and the article is primarily redlinks and is unreferenced? Do you have any suggestions? Gina Bellman has requested that certain erroneous information about her personal life be corrected. Please see her Twitter timeline https://twitter.com/Ginabellman --Zaabsethna (talk) 21:15, 16 September 2013 (UTC)

In that case she or her representative(s), per WP:COI, should have left a message on the article's talk/discussion page rather than just remove/edit material without explanation.--ukexpat (talk) 13:49, 17 September 2013 (UTC)

Please comment at Xiaxue's ongoing peer review!

You have listed yourself as a peer review volunteer interested in copyediting articles. Would you like to support the quest to counter systemic bias on Wikipedia? Would you like to read an interesting article about something different? If so, you are invited to give a thorough review of the article Xiaxue, which is about a Singaporean celebrity blogger. The article is very short and should not take long to review. Hope you enjoy reviewing it as much as I enjoyed writing it. Thanks! 谢谢!Terima kasih! நன்றி! --J.L.W.S. Tiny bit late

Also, the standard for company names is instant block (asap, as in ARV them to WP:UAA or ping an admin otherwise) if they've been editing about themselves (or other COI), in fact, even if they aren't, as groupnames. Thanks :) ~Charmlet -talk- 21:04, 17 September 2013 (UTC)

But uh... Yeah, D67 forgot to leave a block message - so there's a reason for the warning I guess. Although I'm sure nobody would've yelled at you for putting a {{Uw-softerblock}} or {{Uw-spamublock}} on it :) ~Charmlet -talk- 21:07, 17 September 2013 (UTC)
As I understand it, it's only an instablock if the user has edited in mainspace - edits to AFCs don't count apparently, at least that's what I have been told by some admins at UAA. --ukexpat (talk) 21:52, 17 September 2013 (UTC)
Hmm, groupnames are instablocks regardless, individuals promoting things not so much maybe. ~Charmlet -talk- 22:01, 17 September 2013 (UTC)

Changes to SuggestBot's suggestions

We have changed the number of suggested articles and which categories they are selected from. The number of stubs has been greatly reduced, the number of articles needing sources doubled, and two new categories added (orphans and unencyclopaedic articles). We have also modified the layout of the suggestions and added sortable columns with various types of information about each article. The first two columns are:

Views/Day
Daily average number of views an article's had over the past 14 days.
Quality
Predicted article quality on a 1- to 3-star scale. Placing your cursor over the stars should give you a pop-up describing the article's quality (Low/Medium/High), current assessment class, and predicted assessment class.

The method we use to predict article quality also allows us to assess whether an article might need specific types of work in order to improve its quality. The work needed might not correspond to cleanup tags added to the article, since our method is not based on those. We have added five columns reflecting this work assessment, where a red X indicates improvement is needed. Placing your cursor over an X should give you a pop-up with a short description of the work needed. The five columns seek to answer the following five questions:

Content
Is more content needed?
Headings
Does this article have an appropriate section structure?
Images
Is the number of illustrative images about right?
Links
Does this article link to enough other Wikipedia articles?
Sources
For its length, is there an appropriate number of citations to sources in this article?

SuggestBot picks articles in a number of ways based on other articles you've edited, including straight text similarity, following wikilinks, and matching your editing patterns against those of other Wikipedians. It tries to recommend only articles that other Wikipedians have marked as needing work. Thank you

Thank you, UKexpat, for your message. I don't imagine that I will be embarking upon extensive overhauls of any Wikipedia pages in the near future--let alone creation of them--but I did bookmark for future reference the page of guidelines that you sent me. After having been a devoted Wikipedia reader for many years, and having grown weary of the liberally sprinkled spelling errors in German, French, and English, I finally overcame my inertia, signed up to edit, and began fixing a few things here and there. Thank you for your encouragement!

Hmm. I knew there was a pattern; I didn't know it was that bad. It's true, this semester I have a lot of nap opportunities, but too often I close the netbook too late to make them count. Today wasn't bad though! But I'm a bit past the midway point of life, so I can claim to deserve them. Claim falsely, but still claim. And I'd love to be somewhere where I could take a nice ride... Thanks for picking up that mistake, the name of the file should have been a clue really. Not to mention the sign in the image. The list entry number was the same, so I didn't check but it looks like the person who uploaded the file initially clicked on the wrong link so they ended up with the wrong number. I've corrected the number on Commons so it's sorted now. Nev1 (talk) 15:54, 21 October 2013 (UTC)

Neural Plasticity

Hi, there is a process called neural plasticity. On WP it redirects to neuroplasticity, but neural plasticity is actually the more common term. As "Neural plasticity" (the process) and "Neural Plasticity" only differ by a capital, it would seem to me that a disambiguator is necessary here. I would appreciate if you could revert your move.

Sources
