I just responded perhaps a little impatiently to you on Bōkyaku no Senritsu, and now see you're new so I thought I'd save you from a generic Template:Welcome to make up for it. Wikipedia has all kinds of (mostly) helpful guidelines and rules, some of which will be useful to be aware of, but you can pick them up as you go. Feel free to be bold in making changes, mistakes are easy to fix, and as long as you're polite people are happy to point you in the right direction.

As you're obviously interested in anime, you might want to stop by Wikipedia:Manual of Style (Japan-related articles) which has some relevance to naming and romaji issues in writing articles on anime. As general references in english ANN and AniDB are useful - though not as authoritative as japanese sources. The articles on anime in wikipedia are mostly in their infancy compared to other topics, there's plenty of interesting writing to be done. Feel free to drop a message on my talk page if you need to ask any questions (or just if you want recommendations on what's worth watching :) --zippedmartin 17:59, 9 August 2005 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Anthony Hewitt (baseball) edit

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Anthony Hewitt (baseball), suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

No establishment of notability.

All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Orphaned non-free image (Image:File:Uconnh.gif) edit

Thanks for uploading Image:File:Uconnh.gif. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Skier Dude (talk) 23:24, 15 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

Unreferenced BLPs edit

Hello Ucdawg12! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is tagged as an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. Please note that all biographies of living persons must be sourced. If you were to add reliable, secondary sources to this article, it would greatly help us with the current 943 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:

Proposed deletion of File:Slayers-anime-logo.jpg edit

The file File:Slayers-anime-logo.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

unused, low-res, no obvious use

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.

This bot DID NOT nominate any file(s) for deletion; please refer to the page history of each individual file for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 01:01, 21 August 2019 (UTC)Reply
