Welcome!

Hello, UNguyinChina, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions, especially what you did for Tidal power. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on discussion pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{helpme}} before the question. Again, welcome! Dear E8, thank you for your welcoming advice. I'll spend some more time going through the above tutorials. I didn't know you could ask questions using 'helpme'. Amazing, really! Thanks again. E8. (UNguyinChina (talk) 13:29, 11 November 2010 (UTC))Reply
  • I am unaware of how to start wiki stubs in other languages. Hopefully you've found an solution for this already. If not, check WP:WSS or the stub maker's list.--E8 (talk) 06:02, 22 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

Add date and time to signature

edit

Hi UNguyinChina, it is convenient if you add date and time to your signatures on talk pages. If you sign with 4 tildes, ~~~~, this will automagically expand into your username and date/time. I perceive your contributions on DTP as very interesting. Best regards, Crowsnest (talk) 09:48, 11 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

Thank you Crownsnest and E8, I understand the four tildes thing now. Very convenient indeed. There are so many more things I need to learn about wiki! I'm extremely impressed with wiki by the way, it's unbelievable. I'll be adding more emerging developments to the tidal power and dynamic tidal power pages. Thanks for all of your encouragement. Hi UNguyinChina, regarding emerging developments: please make sure they satisfy the Wikipedia demands with respect to reliable sources and relevance, see e.g. WP:RS and WP:PSTS. Publication in renowned newspapers, or in scientific journals/conferences, is in general needed with respect to additions on this subject. Best regards, Crowsnest (talk) 15:05, 11 November 2010 (UTC)Reply
Thank you, Crownsnest. I'll make sure to include reliable sources. (UNguyinChina (talk) 00:52, 12 November 2010 (UTC))Reply
