Speedy deletion nomination of Echo Bridge Entertainment

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Echo Bridge Entertainment requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article or image appears to be a clear copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website or image but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.   Please stop attacking other editors, as you did on Talk:Echo Bridge Entertainment. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Theopolisme 04:02, 30 September 2012 (UTC)Reply

Saying "SHUT UP YOU BASTARDS" to others here is not a good way to start off on a good foot. Wikipedia depends a lot on consensus, and behavior like this is not looked upon well. Thebestofall007 (talk) 04:08, 30 September 2012 (UTC)Reply

Wikipedia is not a place for advertising or promotion

This is a project to build an encyclopedia, not a free noticeboard for posting a product catalogue. See WP:FAQ/Organizations and, if you are connected with Echo Bridge Enterntainment, Wikipedia:Conflict of interest. JohnCD (talk) 10:09, 30 September 2012 (UTC)Reply

This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. - MrX (TALK) 22:29, 20 October 2012 (UTC)Reply

Hello, and thank you for editing the article A Christmas Story. This is appreciated, but unfortunately your revision was not suitable and I have restored the article to its pre-vandalised state. See vandalism. Thank you.  –

Speedy deletion nomination of Ju-onposter.jpg

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on Ju-onposter.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, a rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

Orphaned non-free media (File:Poster art.jpg)

edit

Thanks for uploading File:Poster art.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Hazard-Bot (talk) 04:39, 2 May 2013 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Way of the Dragon may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "()"s. If you have, don't worry, just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

List of unpaired brackets remaining on the page:
  • distributor = [[Orange Sky Golden Harvest|Golden Harvest]]<br />Fortune Star MediaWorldwide)

Your addition to Shaw Brothers Studio has been removed, as it appears to have added copyrighted material to Wikipedia without permission from the copyright holder. If you are the copyright holder, please read Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for more information on uploading your material to Wikipedia. For legal reasons, Wikipedia cannot accept copyrighted text, or images borrowed from other websites, or printed material without a verifiable license; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites or publications as a source of information, but not as a source of content, such as sentences or images—you must write using your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing. Trivialist (talk) 21:18, 30 June 2013 (UTC)Reply

This is your last warning. The next time you add unsourced material to Wikipedia, as you did at Armour of God (film), you may be blocked from editing without further notice. None of your edits have any valid references to back them up. Also, the "Distributor" section is for the distributors of the original release, not for the U.S. distributors such as Miramax or Dimension Films. Areaseven (talk) 11:39, 25 July 2013 (UTC)Reply

August 2013

edit

This is your last warning. The next time you add unsourced material to Wikipedia, as you did at Police Story 2, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. For the last time, stop adding Miramax or Dimension Films to the Distributor section of Jackie Chan's Hong Kong films. They had nothing to do with the original production.
