experience edit

tells us that this is a circus/zoo and the fellow inmates are by and large quite harmless but short on a range of skills, usually... and that many are short of knowledge, even more so an invariable level of ignorance shines forth from the most unsuspecting. One must concur with never telling a kettle that it is black on wikipedia, as the temerity for something that equivocates with holding a mirror, fails miserably... Speedy deletion nomination of Category:Waterwheels in Australia edit

A tag has been placed on Category:Waterwheels in Australia indicating that it is currently empty, and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, a featured topics category, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion. If it remains empty for seven days or more, it may be deleted under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself. Liz Read! omg - there is a truly tragic fate of words combined - some incidence of xx,where x_x might exist contemporaneously in most older print dictionaries, gets decimated by the 'remove xx for x_x' (not necessarily hyphenated but separated) tendency... its a jungle out there, take care... Moving a page edit

Hello. When you make an error in the title of a page, you can move it to a new title (essentially renaming it). This means you don't need to recreate it, and it doesn't fragment the revision history. You can learn more at Help:How to move a page. Thanks, echidnaLives - talk - edits 08:36, 22 December 2022 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for this help. I really didn't know what to do. Will do this in future if I make a similar error.TrimmerinWiki (talk) 08:46, 22 December 2022 (UTC)Reply

Forest Reefs, New South Wales moved to draftspace edit

Thanks for your contributions to Forest Reefs, New South Wales. Unfortunately, it is not ready for publishing because it needs more sources to establish notability and no categories, no structure, no lede, and the "citations" are improperly formatted. Your article is now a draft where you can improve it undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. BoyTheKingCanDance (talk) 02:49, 14 May 2023 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for updating the NSW station categories edit

Yeah, makes sense to remove a parent category if a sub-category is already included. Just wanted to let you know that there’s a gadget called HotCat that makes editing categories so so so much easier. See that link for more details. Fork99 (talk) 21:12, 6 July 2023 (UTC)Reply

By the way, if you’re interested, please feel free to have a look at WikiProject Australian Transport, and if you’d like to, please consider adding your name to the list of participants. Thanks! Fork99 (talk) 21:16, 6 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
