Xlibris edit

Hi Trickmind. Unfortunately, I've had to revert your changes to Xlibris. It is important that Wikipedia presents topics neutrally, and while your criticism of Xlibris may well be valid, it wasn't being presented in a neutral manner. I'm very happy to discuss any changes you want to make over at Talk:Xlibris, and I have no problem with adding more criticism, but we need to approach it neutrally and ensure that it confirms to the sources. - Bilby (talk) 22:28, 1 May 2013 (UTC)Reply

There is a class action suit against this company and a US law firm investigating them for fraud. That is a fact published in many respectable and relevant places such as Publishers Weekly. http://www.theindependentpublishingmagazine.com/2013/03/us-law-firm-investigates-author.html

From your edits, I get the impression the you may be involved in the class action suit. If that's the case, policy strongly discourages you from editing the article directly. In particular, this sort of edit is inappropriate. If the class action suit specifically mentions Xlibris, then it seems worth mentioning it. But removing sourced positive material seemingly in order to present a more negative view of the company is a problem. - Bilby (talk) 12:17, 31 May 2013 (UTC)Reply

I am not in ANY way involved in the Class Action suit at all as you can see I live in New Zealand not in the USA where the suit has been filed http://www.forbes.com/sites/suwcharmananderson/2013/05/07/penguin-author-solutions-sued-for-deceptive-practices/ http://www.the-digital-reader.com/2013/03/04/ny-law-firm-now-investigating-author-solutions-class-action-lawsuit-to-follow/ http://www.theindependentpublishingmagazine.com/2013/03/us-law-firm-investigates-author.html http://davidgaughran.wordpress.com/2013/05/04/the-author-exploitation-business/

Here you can see the Class Action Suit is no longer just forming but has been filed http://accrispin.blogspot.co.nz/2013/05/class-action-lawsuit-filed-against.html

May 2013 edit

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Temple Grandin may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "()"s. If you have, don't worry, just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

Your removal of references to Asperger's syndrome at Temple Grandin, with rationale inserted to article... edit

(Oops, I originally just put on your user page, not user talk, sorry) Hello! I saw your recent edits to Temple Grandin where you made a content change decision to remove references to Asperger's. I also saw where you posted your rationale directly to the article. I have cut this and placed it on the article talk page Talk:Temple Grandin, where such discussions typically belong. Note this may be subject to discussion per the WP:BRD process and such, but I am neutral on this change. Please see [1] and [2]. Thanks! Boogerpatrol (talk) 11:51, 27 May 2013 (UTC)Reply

I think the change is important. What I deleted was misinformation that was blatantly contradicted by previous statements that she did not learn to speak in the expected time frame for a child developing without autism. So by the DSM definition she does NOT have Asperger's. That mistake should NOT be in there under any circumstances. Talk to Temple Grandin herself and she would tell you she does not have Asperger's, she has stated in books of hers I have read that she does not have it so why should that misinformation be in there? I understand that I placed my rational in the wrong area sorry.
No problem, like I said, I moved the rationale to the Talk:Temple Grandin talk page, so anyone who reverts your change should also discuss why they did so there.Boogerpatrol (talk) 20:52, 30 May 2013 (UTC)Reply

If you find inaccuracy such as Fifty Shades of Grey, please post it on the talk page instead. Articles aren't meant for stuff like that. Thank you, Callmemirela 🍁 {Talk} 00:57, 19 September 2015 (UTC)Reply
