Image:Aldabra Giant Tortoise.jpg edit

Cool picture - thanks for uploading! (Pity there is nobody or nothing in the picture - say, a child or a car - that would suggest to the viewer how big those creatures are). I suggest, however, that in the future you upload your photos not to en.wikipedia.org, but to the WIki Commons, http://commons.wikipedia.org . Pictures in the Commons can be used in English Wiki articles in exactly the same way as if they had been uploaded to en.wiki, but they can also be accessed from other Wiki projects. thanks a lot. I also wanted to put it in the featured images but i'm not sure how. Even if it doesn't win it would be cool to see it in the nominations. Anyway, thanks. Tribalninja.

Aldabra Giant Tortoise edit

You asked for my opinion, and I'll be honest: I don't think either image has very much of a chance. The tortoise image is small, in B&W for no apparent reason, and has a very messy background. The tern is cut off, tail & foot. You could try Wikipedia:Picture peer review for more suggestions. Greetings, --Janke | Talk 22:53, 9 December 2008 (UTC)Reply
