Speedy deletion nomination of V Press LC

Request reason:

I tried to follow other publishers to create a wiki page for V Press LC. I gave the reason that the founder created the press, which was not readily available in social forums and it may have read like an advertisement. I would like to hire someone who is able to create/write a wiki page that will adhere to wiki policies and not read like spam/advertising. I cannot do that if I am blocked. Please advise. Decline reason:

Wikipedia does not have "wiki pages", it has articles. This is a subtle but important distinction. Wikipedia articles are typically written by independent editors wholly unconnected with the topic(including being hired). Articles are not owned by the subject and the subject has no more rights to them than any other editor, see WP:OWN. A Wikipedia article about a company must summarize what independent reliable sources with significant coverage have chosen on their own to say about the company, showing how it meets the special Wikipedia definition of a notable company. Wikipedia is not interested in what a company wants to say about itself, only in what others completely unconnected with the company choose to say about it. This does not include the company website, press releases, announcements of routine business activities, brief mentions, staff interviews, or other primary sources. If you work for or represent this company, please read conflict of interest and paid editing. You won't be unblocked to, in the short term, edit about this company, so we will need to know what you will edit about instead.
