Thanks! He had it coming. Cheers. --lTopGunl (talk) 19:08, 24 June 2015 (UTC)

You sir are awesome! You are being awarded this barnstar for detecting, countering and then nuking the socks who have been disrupting Wikipedia by pushing POVs. Thanks for keeping Wikipedia clean! —TripWire talk 20:17, 24 June 2015 (UTC)
Thanks, TripWire! Much appreciated. Best of luck with the recreation of your article without a sock hounding you this time. Please try to rewrite the text to avoid copyright issues; even in your userspace. --lTopGunl (talk) 20:23, 24 June 2015 (UTC)
We hope that TopGun sir will also expose sock puppets of nationalist POV users of "all" countries. Cheers. --Human3015 Call me maybe!! • 20:27, 24 June 2015 (UTC)
I have been at it and an example would be that of User:Lagoo Saab from Islamabad, Pakistan. But I'll ofcourse consider your comment as banter, on a lighter note, rather than divisive. --lTopGunl (talk) 20:33, 24 June 2015 (UTC)

Topic-banned

I just noticed this [1] edit of yours. If you seriously thought the version you were reinstating was better than the other, I can only conclude you utterly lack the competence to act responsibly as a Wikipedia editor in a POV-sensitive topic area. Consequently, I am topic-banning you from all edits related to Indian-Pakistani conflicts and Pakistani politics for a period of 6 months. I assume you know the procedure about logging and appeals of such DS measures. Fut.Perf. 14:41, 3 July 2015 (UTC)

Huh?!?! Future Perfect at Sunrise, I made a revert keeping the word "Invaded" out to an obvious SPA in a sock infested topic area who I noticed on a talk page (I was/am dealing with a ton of socks here - reverting an SPA with even a slight POV is well within reason even if you are not giving me any leeway in regards to the socks). I did not care about the version that was previously there as well. How come that lone edit is worth a topic ban? This fact is corroborated by my complete silence at this. I didn't care for enforcing the standing version either. Even if this was something I had personally added to the article, this was mostly the case on Kashmir dispute (Muslim majority and a Hindu ruler). It is not any thing more than an uncited version I reverted to (but not POV-pushing on my part). It was only preferable to the word invaded and I saw that the next edit was infact taking both perspectives out of the equation which was fine. Unless you were looking to dish out something to all editors involved in the RFC with something to stop the disruption that was actually being caused by socks, there's no reason for you to go so far as a topic ban for this edit even if you truly consider this nonconstructive. You, as an admin, have no authority over content (not that I would have disputed if you had reverted me as an editor - as seen in the removal in next edit - so you don't have any justification for the sanction in that regard too).
You need to rethink over this keeping above in view and the fact that you completely lacked to assume good faith; even if you chose not to, you did not even ask me for an explanation of my revert which is quite unfair and misjudged. I'll be happy to take this to WP:AE/WP:AN if you are not willing to reconsider the topic ban on a revert to an SPA but I'll prefer to resolve this directly if you understand that I was not the one causing disruption here (I hardly edit that article anyway - feel free to take a look), and this was not remotely "gross lack of competence" as you thought it to be. --lTopGunl (talk) 18:11, 3 July 2015 (UTC)

WP:DUCK

  • I've reverted your deletion of comments made by other people at WT:INB and hatted the thread as being in the wrong venue. You claim it is a DUCK situation, in which case you know where SPI can be found. You may wish to re-familiarise yourself with WP:TPG. - Sitush (talk) 20:16, 3 July 2015 (UTC)
I'm filing an SPI. Any comments of banned / blocked editors (including their socks) can be blanked by any one. I cited an editor which any serious editor would recognize as a sock of the same master. --lTopGunl (talk) 20:20, 3 July 2015 (UTC)
You have added a heading above my comment. Just making that clear to anyone else who may read this - it was your behaviour, not WP:DUCK, which prompted me to come here. - Sitush (talk) 20:25, 3 July 2015 (UTC)
My behavior to reverting the sock? Because your comment was about that - nothing else. I've filed an SPI. I think that would be the end of it. --lTopGunl (talk) 20:27, 3 July 2015 (UTC)

Signature color

I want to color my signature Please help. --Taha7512 (talk) 18:49, 8 July 2015 (UTC)

You'll need to add the required html code to colour your signature and save that in the preferences (in "signature" option on first page). You can also ask for further help at WP:HELPDESK or simply drop me a message here. --lTopGunl (talk) 19:08, 8 July 2015 (UTC)

Kashmir conflict

Hello Top gun please refer to https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Dispute_resolution_noticeboard#Kashmir_conflict. May be you as an volunteer can give your valuable input to all of us to resolve a dispute. Human3015 is also causing disturbance in a concensus just like he is doing so on Trip wire's talk page. 39.47.101.1 (talk) 19:04, 8 July 2015 (UTC)

I'm currently topic banned from editing Indo-Pak conflicts, so I can not comment on your request. Please WP:AGF about Human and stick to WP:DR. I'm sure you'll be able to resolve it as DRN has neutral mediators who make sure the discussion sticks to content. --lTopGunl (talk) 19:08, 8 July 2015 (UTC)

Back to the Future

When I watched the movie, I saw Marty back to 1985 send by Doc Brown in a DeLorean time machine and when he is shot by Libyan terriosts. Marty goes back to 1955, but I thought that he was going to send to 1931 by Doc whom he survives in a bullet-proof vest Should the article not be based on the game? --182.191.182.37 (talk) 13:50, 10 July 2015 (UTC) The 182 anon

I haven't edited that article so not sure why you're asking me? But if you are suggesting edits to that article... it might be so that you are viewing the article about the movie. To see other articles of the same franchise (such as the game) see Back to the Future (disambiguation). You can follow up to the article you want and suggest edits on its talkpage (or make an edit yourself per WP:BOLD). --lTopGunl (talk) 17:20, 10 July 2015 (UTC)
