Nomination for speedy deletion edit

A tag has been placed on Agama Yoga, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:

clearly a promotional article

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet very basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as an appropriate article, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is appropriate, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. 69.177.176.251 02:12, 13 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

Image copyright problem with Image:Swami-vivekananda-saraswati-1.jpg edit

Image Copyright problem
Image Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading Image:Swami-vivekananda-saraswati-1.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 07:46, 7 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

Eurovision Song Contest 2009 edit

Please do not add content without citing reliable sources, as you did to Eurovision Song Contest 2009. Before making potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. If you are familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources please take this opportunity to add references to the article. Contact me if you need assistance adding references. Thank you. Hello, the edit in question is [1]. It was the only edit you made on the 12 August and sticks out from your over edits, suggesting it was done by someone else. I cannot say exactly what happened without more information, but there are two main possibilities: 1) Your account password has been cracked by someone and they have been able to log-in to your account and edit. 2) You have accidentally left yourself logged in, or set a computer to remember your password, allowing someone else who later uses the same computer as you did to edit Wikipedia under your account. As a precaution I recommend immediately changing your password to something else, a guide can be found at Password strength. If your account has an e-mail address specified make sure that its e-mail account is secure too. If you use a computer shared with others (such as an internet cafe) make sure you log-out after editing and to not set your browser to remember your password. I received your message edit

Hi Tomeryogi, yes I deleted the article, after a deletion discussion at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Agama Yoga. The nominator of the article, as well as every other commenter (besides you) agreed that the article was not quite where it needed to be in order to be considered for Wikipedia. You've built a good case for restoring the article, and I apologize if you are feeling frustrated regarding this issue. Once a deletion discussion is completed, if the article simply "reappears" (either by you, or by me), it will qualify as a non-discussed, "speedy" deletion, under criteria G4. What you need to do is prove that Agama Yoga is notable. Not that it exists, lots of things exist that will never make it on Wikipedia. That it is notable within its field. Someone else has talked about it, written about it, reviewed it, independently, unsolicited, (and unpaid). Please reply on my talkpage with links to any external sources that you have, and I will gladly restore it. For example, you state that there has bee a documentary? By who? Was it aired on television? What channel? What country? Again, I'll gladly help you, but I need more information from you. If you disagree with my unwillingness to restore the article at this point, you do have the option of bringing the deletion closure to deletion review, by clicking here. At deletion review, they decide if the deletion debate, the one I closed, was closed improperly. Let me know if you have any questions! Keeper ǀ 76 14:53, 18 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

The file File:Swami-vivekananda-saraswati-NYretreat.07.08 039.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Unused personal photo. Out of scope.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. --Minorax«¦talk¦» 05:11, 12 February 2022 (UTC)Reply
