Question from NabilSayadi (12:33, 1 August 2023) edit

Hi,

I was wondering if you could help me set up my own page. I’m a pro footballer for Fortuna Sittard. I’m on the main Wikipedia page of the club under the header players. “Nabil Sayadi”. But if you click on my name, a page will come up of an other Nabil Sayadi which has a kind of bad history. So for my name it’s not good. I have the text about me ready. So if you could help me make the page, that would be amazing.

Kind regards, Nabil Sayadi --NabilSayadi (talk) 12:33, 1 August 2023 (UTC)Reply

Hello, @NabilSayadi, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thanks for reaching out to me about this; my apologies for the erroneous link. I have removed the link to the other Nabil Sayadi from the Fortuna Sittard article. However, I would caution you against writing a new article about yourself — Wikipedia has conflict of interest guidelines which strongly discourage users from writing about themselves or other people or organisations that they are closely related to. If you have read the guidelines but still wish to write about yourself, you can disclose your conflict of interest by following these instructions and create a draft by following the article wizard. Question from Chidozie Chukwubuike (08:14, 20 August 2023) edit

Hello Please what's the procedure for uploading personal profile on Wikipedia? --Chidozie Chukwubuike (talk) 08:14, 20 August 2023 (UTC)Reply

Hi, @Chidozie Chukwubuike; welcome to Wikipedia! Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, where editors can write neutral articles about notable topics. It is not a place to upload personal profiles, self-promotion, or resumes. If you wish to write a draft article about yourself, please note that this is strongly discouraged, and read the conflict of interest guideline; if you still wish to draft an article about yourself, you can use the article wizard to do so.
