Draft: Peter Bogner edit

I think you could be interested in this draft article I have started for Peter Bogner, founder and president of GISAID: Draft:Peter Bogner - Wikipedia AncientWalrus (talk) 03:23, 25 March 2023 (UTC)Reply

Additional reading here. I'm disappointed I didn't receive a similar invite, even though I am told that I have a potentially strong interest in all things GISAID. - AppleBsTime (talk) 22:27, 26 March 2023 (UTC)Reply
As you state yourself, having a demonstrated strong interest in all things GISAID, you didn't require an invite to find that draft article yourself. In no short time, you accused me of having an axe to grind, see Draft talk:Peter Bogner - Wikipedia
Your accusation of Wikipedia:Tag team is off the mark (again). Please Wikipedia:Assume good faith and only make accusations of tag teaming in line with the policy you seem to cite without having read:

Wikipedia encourages and depends on cooperative editing to improve articles, and most editors who work together are not a tag team.Assume good faith, and keep in mind that in almost all cases it is better to address other editors' reasoning than it is to accuse them of being on a team. Unsubstantiated accusations of tag teaming are uncivil. Care should be taken to frame assertions appropriately, citing evidence in the appropriate venues, following our dispute resolution process.

Too strong interest can potentially lead to conflict of interest as well. AncientWalrus (talk) 03:29, 27 March 2023 (UTC)Reply
(I have no particular interest in this individual, beyond a general interest in GISAID, so will keep my edits to that article.) - Tobeortobebetter (talk) 23:32, 26 March 2023 (UTC)Reply

Copyright violation edit

Unfortunately, the length of text copied from the Science article to Talk:GISAID was excessive, constituting a probable copyright violation, so I had to revert the addition and remove the text from the page history (see, e.g., Harper & Row v. Nation Enterprises; copyright infringement is in proportion to the work from which content is copied, and a selection of less than 400 words from a 200-page memoir was sufficient to infringe). Please feel free to repost the section with a substantially smaller selection copied from the article. BD2412 T 14:31, 25 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

Note: I have restored the discussion absent the copyvio. Please feel free to add a much shorter selection of text from the article, or a summary in your own words, in place of the note that the copyvio text has been removed. Cheers! BD2412 T 14:36, 25 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
Thank you for the restoration. I've added a much shorter version. Tobeortobebetter (talk) 14:52, 25 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
Much better, thanks. BD2412 T 17:01, 25 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
