  • @WikiDan61:I delete the equation part. It says "you may write a new article without copyright-infringing material". So I thought I can remove the tag after deleting the equation part.tn215 cstn215 cs 14:41, 8 October 2016 (UTC)Reply
The instructions on the copyvio template are a bit confusing. When it says to create your rewrite on "this page", it means that you should click on the link at the end of the sentence to create a new subpage, and create your rewrite on the new subpage. The reviewing administrator will then decide if your rewrite has sufficiently addressed the copyright violation issue. As I have mentioned before, equations are equations; you shouldn't "paraphrase" them at the expense of getting them wrong, but if you need them to clarify the text you should retain them. Copying another author's equations is generally not considered a copyright violation, as long as you properly attribute the source. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 12:40, 9 October 2016 (UTC)Reply
