Proposed deletion of Kostant partition function edit
The article Kostant partition function has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Wikipedia is NOT a dictionary
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the Proposed Deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The Speedy Deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and Articles for Deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. WuhWuzDat 19:06, 15 August 2009 (UTC)

Thanks a lot to all the people who contributed to make this article! I do believe that the Kostant partition function deserves an article on its own. There has been a lot of specialized literature on the function coming out in the last 20 years, and there is a lot more that can be said about it. I will look into it one of these days.
