Speedy deletion of "Tinkernut" edit

A page you created, Tinkernut, has been tagged for deletion, as it meets one or more of the criteria for speedy deletion; specifically, it is about a website, but it does not indicate how it is important or significant, and thus why it should be included in an encyclopedia. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and the guidelines for websites in particular.

You are welcome to contribute content which complies with our content policies and any applicable inclusion guidelines. However, please do not simply re-create the page with the same content. You may also wish to read our introduction to editing and guide to writing your first article.

  2. participating in deletion discussions about articles related to your organization or its competitors; and
  3. linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam).

June 2012 edit

Please do not write an article about yourself. Creating an autobiography is strongly discouraged – see our guideline on writing autobiographies. If you create such an article, it may be deleted. If what you have done in life is genuinely notable and can be verified according to our policy for articles about living people, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later (see Wikipedians with articles). Please understand that this is an encyclopedia and not a personal web space or social networking site. If your article has already been deleted, please see: Why was my page deleted?, and if you feel the deletion was an error, please discuss it with the deleting administrator. Thank you. elektrikSHOOS (talk) 03:53, 20 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

This page was not created by me, as you can see[here], but I am re-submitting it in what I think is the appropriate section. It is about me, but it was placed in the wrong Wiki section and deleted. Please check the sources and if this page is less worthy of being added than Youtube personalities [Caitlin Hill], the creators of [Ask a Ninja], [Fox Bronte], [Amanda Baggs], or [Amy Walker], then I will gladly hand it over for deletion. But if that is the case, then those wiki submissions should also be removed, as they only have as much right to be on Wikipedia as this page does. One more thing edit

If you are the YouTuber whom that article was about, I'd advise you voluntary disclose it on your user page (at User:Tinkernut). This would go a long way towards having other users help you in the future, as a lot of Wikipedia contributors are more than willing to help someone with a potential conflict of interest if they disclose any potential connections they may have and make a good-faith effort to work within site policy regarding this. At worst, not doing this and continuing to edit in problem areas could be seen as an attempt to game the site or self-promote, which wouldn't go over well. elektrikSHOOS (talk) 04:53, 20 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

MfD nomination of User:Zaz986/Tinkernut edit

User:Zaz986/Tinkernut, a page which you created or substantially contributed to, has been nominated for deletion. Your opinions on the matter are welcome; you may participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/User:Zaz986/Tinkernut and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of User:Zaz986/Tinkernut during the discussion but should not remove the miscellany for deletion template from the top of the page; such a removal will not end the deletion discussion. Thank you. Ricky81682 (talk) 08:59, 9 February 2016 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of File:Tinkernut profile.jpg edit

The file File:Tinkernut profile.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

unused, low-res, no obvious use

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.

This bot DID NOT nominate any file(s) for deletion; please refer to the page history of each individual file for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 01:01, 26 August 2019 (UTC)Reply
