Apologies if this is incorrect, I've never created a talk page before. But you're editing and uploading multiple WWE articles with images taken from the internet that are not your copyright. You can't just add whatever you feel like as you find it, that's not how Wikipedia works. Please stop adding pics like this. To anyone else viewing this, I've reverted a bunch of the pics this user changed but certainly not all of them. Feel free to go over their contributions and correct anything else.

LightSamus (talk) 03:43, 15 May 2020 (UTC)Reply

My apologies, I had no clues this was a part of the rules and regulations on Wikipedia. I'm new here so I'm not quite familiar. I thought I would be making a service by updating the pictures on the wrestlers' pages as some of them were old and outdated. I promise this won't happen again though. Thank you sir.

Reliable sources

edit

The website wrestling.co is listed as an unreliable source. Therefore the note about Toni Storm can not be added, unless you can find another source that is reliable. Addicted4517 (talk) 08:16, 11 June 2020 (UTC)Reply

Wrestlinginc.com is not reliable either. Addicted4517 (talk) 08:19, 12 June 2020 (UTC)Reply
Stop. Wrestling Inc isn't a reliable source. Also, doesn't say anything about the name of the faction. --HHH Pedrigree (talk) 09:54, 19 June 2020 (UTC)Reply
I've added a new source which is WWE's Instagram where they say the name of the faction which is Legado del Fantasma. Thank you.--TimothyThatcher69 (talk) 8:51, 19 June 2020 (UTC)

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Ricky Starks, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Tape delay (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

MVP

edit

Hello. I saw you edit on MVP's article. As I said, remember WINC is not a reliable source. If you have some problem, here is a list with reliable and unreliable sources. Also, I feel you included some of no notable events. I prefer a more enciclopedic, less in-universe approach to these articles, like "he was pointed as Lashley manager" instead of "he talked with lashley, explained to him...". Also, is not necessary to include every RAW segment and explain every promo, just the most notable things. --HHH Pedrigree (talk) 08:52, 25 June 2020 (UTC)Reply

Managing a conflict of interest

edit

  Hello, TimothyThatcher69. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest#How to disclose a COI);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:Spam);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. GSS💬 05:35, 30 June 2020 (UTC)Reply

  Welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions, but in one of your recent edits to Zelina Vega, it appears that you have added original research, which is against Wikipedia's policies. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, ideas, and personal experiences—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. Thank you. KyleJoantalk 02:27, 15 November 2020 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom 2020 Elections voter message

edit
 Hello! Voting in the 2020 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 7 December 2020. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2020 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 03:02, 24 November 2020 (UTC)Reply

  Please do not add original research or novel syntheses of published material to articles as you apparently did to Kenny Omega. Please cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. Thank you. KyleJoantalk 02:39, 11 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

I have added a new source which is a clip from this week's Dynamite where Kenny Omega explains his alliance with Don Callis and adds further proof that he is now a heel. Thank you. TimothyThatcher69talk 7:19, 11 December 2020 (UTC)

His partnership with Callis is already in the article. The tweet you cited does not say Omega is a heel. WrestlingInc is unreliable per WP:PW/RS. You cannot state in Wikipedia's voice that he is a heel based on your own analysis of the events. Please stop. If you make one more disruptive edit, I'll file a WP:ANI report. Thanks. Unspecified source/license for File:Joe Doering 2019.jpg

edit

Thanks for uploading File:Joe Doering 2019.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. Even if you created the image yourself, you still need to release it so Wikipedia can use it. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time after the next seven days. If you made this image yourself, you can use copyright tags like {{PD-self}} (to release all rights), {{self|cc-by-sa-4.0}} (to require that you be credited), or any tag here - just go to the image, click edit, and add one of those. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by MifterBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. NOTE: Once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. --MifterBot (TalkContribsOwner) 08:45, 25 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of File:Joe Doering 2019.jpg

edit

A tag has been placed on File:Joe Doering 2019.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the file appears to be a blatant copyright infringement of https://www.gettyimages.ca/detail/news-photo/joe-doering-looks-on-during-the-all-japan-pro-wrestling-news-photo/1189251880. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use it — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.   Hello. I have noticed that you often edit without using an edit summary. Please do your best to always fill in the summary field. This helps your fellow editors use their time more productively, rather than spending it unnecessarily scrutinizing and verifying your work. Even a short summary is better than no summary, and summaries are particularly important for large, complex, or potentially controversial edits. Thanks! SK2242 (talk) 23:26, 1 April 2021 (UTC)Reply
