I've seen you hanging out a bit on the Paranormal AfD page, hope you're enjoying having discussions. However, I was hoping that you could revisit this one. I have no doubt it will survive AfD, so I'm not worried about changing a vote, but your reasoning doesn't hold up to scrutiny. If you look at how the article is now, and how it was, you can see that a quick Google search would have shown you that the subject was not a hoax. The article Cartozoology has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Enirely-non notable trivial pursuit of finding animal shapes in street maps. Witless use of paradigmatically, a word almost always used when people do not know what they are trying to say. Already fully covered in [[2]]. Probable copyvio, since most google hits have same text, but since the origin may have been on a non copyright site am not going down that route.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
