Beloved (band) edit

Thanks for your message. The reason the article was deleted was because whilst, yes, the band released two albums, I don't think that a division of a division of a record label necessarily qualifies as being a major record label or one of the more important indie labels. In addition, the only two external links weren't reliable independent sources. The allmusic link didn't add anything to the article whatsoever, and the other link was to the band's own website. I think it's borderline - if you think that you can improve the article then I'll happily restore it, move it to your userspace, and give you time to see if you can bring it up to scratch. How does that sound as a compromise? GBT/C 20:54, 6 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

The hard way is to (a) become an administrator, so you can undelete deleted pages, then (b) read up on how to move pages, then (c) restore the deleted versions and (d) move it to your userspace. The easy way is to count to 50 then click on User:Theonethird/Beloved (band)! GBT/C 21:04, 6 March 2008 (UTC)Reply
Hmmm. Counting to 25 would have done it - looks like I'm getting better at this! GBT/C 21:06, 6 March 2008 (UTC)Reply
Looks much better - I've moved it back, so let's see how it goes. Well played! GBT/C 19:47, 12 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Beloved (band) edit

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Beloved (band), suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Do you want to opt out of receiving this notice? -- Atamachat 23:35, 19 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

I'm working through the backlog and I saw you had a very old outstanding request. I have whitelisted this blog entry. --A. B. (talkcontribs) 15:56, 8 September 2008 (UTC)Reply
