Gold dragon vs white dragon

May I ask why you reverted my actions without an explanation? Surely my version is less Mercia orientated and thus more NPOV? --Cameron* 15:37, 5 October 2008 (UTC)

Becasue it isn't a real flag, it isn't historically acurate. The Quill (talk) 15:46, 5 October 2008 (UTC)
Mea culpa. OK, let's stick with the Mercian/Wessex gold dragon! ;) --Cameron* 16:16, 5 October 2008 (UTC)
Ok, good. I'm glad your saw my reasoning. The Quill (talk) 16:22, 5 October 2008 (UTC)

rock-paper-scissors variations

Might I ask how this page benefits being spun off from its parent? Because I don't see the need, and neither does at least one other editor, but you clearly do. (For ease of discussion, please respond on the article talk page.) gnfnrf (talk) 03:27, 8 October 2008 (UTC)

Latvian prime ministers template

Thanks for your work on the template. I do want to let you know that the Latvian SSR First Secretaries need to be removed, there is a separate template for that. That was discussed/decided some time ago as the most appropriate representation. Thanks! (I see there's been a revert in the meantime.) —PētersV (talk) 18:13, 10 October 2008 (UTC)

Thanks for the info! The Quill (talk) 18:16, 10 October 2008 (UTC)

Richard II

er why? They are Richard's arms. Johnbod (talk) 14:03, 12 October 2008 (UTC)

Let's get something straight

Hello, The Quill! Lets' get something straight. I am not arguing because of the infobox. Infobox means nothing to me, but I want you to understand that her status is disputed, whether you like it or not. Mary I is the first woman to have been unquestionably Queen regnant of England. Jane Grey's claims are sometimes recognised, and Matilda's claims are sometimes recognised too, but have you noticed that titles of their article do not indicate their disputed monarchical status? It's Lady Jane Grey, not Jane of England, and Empress Matilda, not Matilda of England.

The official website is certainly not the highest authority. Should we forget about Richard II and George III and say that the title 'Prince of Wales' may be granted only to the eldest son of a Sovereign, just because that's what this page of the official website claims?

Unless you have published the results of your research in a reliable publication, I don't care what you think about Empress Matilda's status. We are not in position to follow our point of view, therefore it doesn't matter whether you acknowledge her or not. Surtsicna (talk) 19:07, 12 October 2008 (UTC)

Template:Infobox Rabbi

I wanted to make the following changes to the infobox you created, but I wanted to run it by you first. I wanted to make Began, Ended, and Predecessor not appear if there is no info. Also, I wanted to change the title of the "religion" field to "denomination" in the language. What do you think? Thanks. Shirulashem (talk) 21:37, 27 October 2008 (UTC)

Yeah I think thats probably a good idea. Especially in the case of the "religion" field to "denomination". The Quill (talk) 08:53, 28 October 2008 (UTC)

I've tagged this image, as it seems to be identical with the one on Google maps, and thus contravenes the Copyright policy. Kanguole (talk) 13:05, 29 October 2008 (UTC)
