Rollback edit

I've approved your request for rollback and given you the permissions. Please be sure to read all applicable policies and use it only for clear vandalism. Misuse of the tool, even accidentally, may result in revocation. Thank you for your interest and happy rollbacking!
Now that the above speech is out of the way, you must satiate my curiosity- do you happen to have stolen your nickname from a favorite show of mine? If you say no I might have to take away the flag... :P l'aquatique || talk 09:01, 15 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

Are you coming to the Toga party? --TheIntersect (talk) 09:05, 15 December 2008 (UTC)Reply
Unfortunately I wasn't invited? l'aquatique || talk 09:06, 15 December 2008 (UTC)Reply
You didn't get the reference to episode 7. Now I feel silly. TheIntersect (talk) 09:11, 15 December 2008 (UTC)Reply
Don't feel silly! I haven't seen every episode, I only recently discovered it (having been busy mourning the loss of my precious Stargate Atlantis) and thus have a bit of catching up to do. Too bad re-runs aren't being broadcast in syndication yet. l'aquatique || talk 09:18, 15 December 2008 (UTC)Reply
Don't worry, I shouldn't have assumed you would understand an obscure reference that only appears in one episode. Anyway, thanks for giving me rollback, I'll be sure not to misuse it :) TheIntersect (talk) 09:34, 15 December 2008 (UTC)Reply
No problem. Feel free to contact me if you run into any trouble or need help! l'aquatique || talk 18:01, 15 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

Not vandalism on Everett T. Moore edit

Hi. If you check the diffs between the last logged in user and the anon you warned for vandalism: (diff), you will see that this is the same user working on the article and it isn't vandalism at all. The way s/he is working (no edit summaries, not using preview) isn't ideal, but it is obviously constructive, not destructive. Be sure to check more carefully before reverting in the future. I've reminded the user to remember to log in. Cheers, Katr67 (talk) 06:15, 16 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

My mistake. I hadn't realised how many edits the IP had made to the page, all I seen was this diff and changing the text to "something like Communism" didn't appear constructive, but having now seen the work they did to the article I was clearly mistaken. I have apologised on their talkpage, I just hope their IP address doesn't alter in the next few days so they will see it. TheIntersect (talk) 06:31, 16 December 2008 (UTC)Reply
Very nice of you, thanks! I think the anon is the same as the logged in user Wonder107, so you might leave him/her a link to your note. Happy editing, Katr67 (talk) 06:46, 16 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

AfD nomination of Google Watch edit

An editor has nominated one or more articles which you have created or worked on, for deletion. The nominated article is Google Watch. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also Wikipedia:Notability and "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Google Watch (4th nomination). Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.

Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 01:07, 5 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open! edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
