Welcome edit

Hi. Welcome to Wikipedia. I've noticed that you've repeatedly removed the hatnote from the King (band) article. The hatnote is there to help users find articles, and this one should remain in place. Do you see a problem with the way it is worded? Please let me know if there's something I can do to help improve the article. Thank you! - Eureka Lott 14:54, 18 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

Ah, now I understand what you hoped to accomplish. I'm afraid there isn't a good answer, though. The only way to have the KING (band) article appear first in a search would be to move the King (band) article, and I don't think that would be a good idea. I think the current setup, with the hatnote at King (band), will have to do. - Eureka Lott 19:04, 18 March 2012 (UTC)Reply
You may want to familiarize yourself with Wikipedia's policy for article titles and the guideline covering band names. Please remember that article titles must uphold Wikipedia's neutral point of view and should reflect a long-term view. If you think you can convince the Wikipedia community that the page should be renamed, you can list it at Wikipedia:Requested moves. - Eureka Lott 19:29, 18 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

"Entertainer" articles edit

Hey - please don't create empty articles, even if you do have the intention of writing them some time in the future. If you would like a place to practice writing the articles before you submit them, you can create a userspace draft. If you have any questions, feel free to drop me a note here. "Pepper" @ 11:35, 14 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

Seconded. You cannot simply create placeholders for articles with no content; they will be removed. Please create such pages in your sandbox or in a userspace draft. When you have created something that can stand as an encyclopedic article, let me or another editor know and we'll be happy to help move it into mainspace. Yunshui  12:55, 14 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

March 2013 edit

Please do not remove maintenance templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to KING (band), without resolving the problem that the template refers to, or giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your removal of this template does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. Thank you. JamesBWatson (talk) 13:19, 14 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

Disambiguation link notification for March 14 edit

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited KING (band), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Malibu (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Problems with your editing edit

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to edit Wikipedia disruptively, you may be blocked from editing. Amongst other problems with your editing are the following. You have repeatedly removed "citation needed" tags without providing citations. You have repeatedly added promotional claims without providing sources. You have added content with supposed "references" which do not support the claims you have made. You have been edit warring, that is to say repeatedly reverting to the same, or partly the same, content, over and over again when others have undone your edits. Edit warring is disruptive: if you think there are valid reasons to support your version of an article when it is disputed by another editor, then please explain your reasons, be ready to discuss the issues, and try to reach consensus. Simply repeatedly trying to push your preferred version through is not acceptable. Do not edit war even if you are convinced that you are "right". Also please note that Wikipedia content must be supported by reliable sources that can be verified by other editors. An anonymous person who chooses to create a Wikipedia account and then says "you can take my word for it, because I know" is not a verifiable reliable source. 79.123.83.147 (talk) 15:57, 14 March 2013 (UTC)Reply
