Speedy deletion nomination of Bradley Square Mall edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Bradley Square Mall, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Phearson (talk) 17:00, 8 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

A tag has been placed on Bradley Square Mall requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.) or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

March 2011 edit

Please do not remove speedy deletion notices from pages you have created yourself. Please use the {{hangon}} template on the page instead if you disagree with the deletion, and make your case on the page's talk page. Thank you. Phearson (talk) 19:24, 8 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

June 2014 edit

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Williamson County, Texas may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "()"s and 1 "{}"s likely mistaking one for another. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, BracketBot (talk) 16:43, 20 June 2014 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Rena Scott edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Rena Scott requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Disco in 1980 edit

Please explain on the 1980 in music talk page why you think it is important your addition regarding disco music is put in. There are a number of problems with it;

Your addition has been reverted three times now. Continuing to restore it into the article is disruptive and edit warring. Thanks. --Escape Orbit (Talk) 15:00, 21 February 2016 (UTC)Reply

Rena Scott edit

Hi. I've also just done a review of what you wrote in the Rena Scott article and notice that 90% of it is a straight copy from her website here] . This website is "Copyright 2013. Rena Scott . All rights reserved." You cannot simply copy text off copyrighed websites and paste it into Wikipedia. Also, apart from the copyright issues, the way it is phrased is obviously promotional and not of an acceptably neutral tone for an encyclopedia. If fixed some of it, but would appreciate it if you could rephrase and rework it further. Thanks. --Escape Orbit (Talk) 15:20, 21 February 2016 (UTC)Reply

September 2016 edit

Please do not replace Wikipedia pages with blank content, as you did to Virginia Beach Arena. Blank pages are harmful to Wikipedia because they have a tendency to confuse readers. If it is a duplicate article, please redirect it to an appropriate existing page. If the page has been vandalised, please revert it to the last legitimate version. If you feel that the content of a page is inappropriate, please edit the page and replace it with appropriate content. If you believe there is no hope for the page, please see the deletion policy for how to proceed. — Smjg (talk) 17:15, 28 September 2016 (UTC)Reply

September 2017 edit

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Expansion of the National Basketball Association. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Please be particularly aware that Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing.
Please discuss the matter at Talk:Expansion of the National Basketball Association. – Sabbatino (talk) 13:16, 14 September 2017 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 31 hours for persistently making disruptive edits. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Widr (talk) 14:39, 14 September 2017 (UTC)Reply

Please do not add or change content, as you did at Expansion of the National Basketball Association, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. – Sabbatino (talk) 18:20, 17 September 2017 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Ellis County, Kansas, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Anomaly (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver).   Hello, I'm SounderBruce. I noticed that you made one or more changes to an article, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Proposed deletion of Signal Hill Mall edit

The article Signal Hill Mall has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Small-town mall with no large retail anchors. Article was previously deleted via AfD a decade ago, and this stub isn't very comprehensive.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
