Dear Sandstein,

In response to your block, I would like to reiterate that these articles should not be construed as advertising in any way, shape or form. I have taken precautions to assure that these postings would be in no way a promotion or endorsement of Kaplan programs, but only to provide the facts. If there are specific aspects of the postings that you believe are promotional, I welcome you and others to make those specific recommendations so that the pages can be improved.

My purpose here is to provide factual information, and in some cases, to alter incorrect information that is currently posted on the wikipedia pages of current Kaplan schools. At a minimum, we would have to be permitted to edit the discussion pages of certain schools in order to propose changes that would remove faulty information and ensure that the wikipedia page is entirely accurate.

Under the Wikipedia definitions of NPOV, we have made every effort to refrain from using any language that could promote Kaplan Higher Education schools. For each school, we only propose posting the school’s location, programs and fields of study, a brief history, accreditation and links to each campus’ city profile, and a list of area schools in support of providing a neutral entry.

Editors have mentioned in this discussion that the pages should cover multiple schools and that not every campus requires its’ own page. However, the Kaplan Higher Education schools are not all the same; each campus has different course offerings and degree programs, and is accredited by different accrediting agencies. Therefore, we find that it is necessary to distinguish between each campus.

I would like to thank you for restoring the Kaplan College page and the Hesser College page. I would like to have our block removed so that I can provide factual information about Kaplan schools and to maintain the ability to edit Kaplan-related pages if they are displaying incorrect information. Also, I would like to propose that instead of creating the pages for each school without consultation, I would post future entries for previously uncreated pages on the talk pages under the guide of the Wikipedia suggestions at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Suggestions_for_COI_compliance.

Look forward to working with you. Teammazur

I have unblocked you per your stated intent to comply with our policies, specifically WP:COI and WP:NPOV. I will re-block you if this account violates these policies or appears to be used by multiple persons. The pages Kaplan College and Hesser College appear to have been restored already. Information Regarding Hesser College edit

Dear Sandstein,

I appreciate that you have restored the use of two of our pages, Kaplan College and Hesser College. After reading both posts, however, the Hesser College posting appears to have some incorrect and irrelevant information. I would like to propose the following as a proper posting for Hesser College:

Founded as Hesser Business College in Manchester, New Hampshire in 1900, Hesser College continues to follow the principle of providing individual encouragement and assistance to all students instilled by its founder, Joel H. Hesser.

Hesser began to expand its educational services beyond the city of Manchester in 1975 when the first extension campus was opened in Nashua, New Hampshire. In the decades that followed, additional campuses were opened in Portsmouth, Salem, and Concord.

The college currently offers associate and bachelor’s degrees, certificates and diplomas in fields including business, criminal justice, allied health, and liberal arts. Each individual campus offers any number of these programs.

Look forward to working with you and other editors on getting this resolved. Thank you.
