Bhai 13 April ko tabiyat kharaab thi, 3-4 edits kiya. Raat ko sar me bahut dard ho rahaa tha. Agle din subah uthaa to paya ki ankhon se saaf saaf kuchh nahi dikh rahaa tha. Dr. ne kahaa shayad computer screen me lagaatar dekhne se hua hain. 10-12 din tak computer se door raha. Baad me jab computer use karne laga to Wikipedia avoid kia (chhote chhote akshar hain na). YouTube aur video games khelta tha bas. Life me busy bhi ho gaya. WP:NOSOCIAL

This is regarding some of your recent edits where you've been removing social media links stating WP:NOSOCIAL.

I agree that WP:NOSOCIAL says that we should avoid links to social media but it includes WP:ELOFFICIAL allows it if it's the primary "official" page of the subject. So in line with WP:ELNO, no social networking site except for a link to subject's official page should be mentioned. Hence, an official verified social media account can be added. I hope I was able to explain this and I would appreciate if you self-revert your particular edits. Thanks, ManaliJain (talk) 06:12, 22 August 2022 (UTC)

@ManaliJain: Official doesn't mean that you added social media links to Wikipedia it is considered inappropriate under WP:NOSOCIAL, you should read WP:ELOFFICIAL thoroughly, there it is explained what type of official links you can added and social media hacks keep happening, so it is inappropriate to add it under WP:ELOFFICIAL. Without being able to comment on specific pages, I would say that removing an official link to the YouTube page of a YouTuber is inappropriate. I would also argue that if a celebrity or influencer has no official website, then a link to their official Twitter or Instagram is perfectly acceptable. Blindly removing a link because it happens to point to one of these sites is not what NOSOCIAL and ELOFFICIAL are meant to imply. Primefac (talk) 14:27, 22 August 2022 (UTC) (please ping on reply)
