Hmm, we'll talk about the formal stuff later. But learning from my mistakes, take a look at this talk thread on the Frontier Airlines article. I learned about Wikipedia's resource usage on this. Well, really the point is that you need to let your edits into the world and let them live or die on their own. Thats kinda what I've done with the TRS article. Also one of the things I'm trying to communicate is that you should pick your "intensive" cooperation/negoation efforts wisely. To think that we've spent that much time arguing over a slash is a bit strange in my mind. We could have avoided this if people were willing to let their edits go.

So the lessons really are about thinking when it makes sense to revert someone else's edits back to yours, and if its worth it. Am I making any sense?

Also perhaps we should set up a subpage for these discussions, so we'll have the thread completely on one page? What do you think? —Cliffb 06:39, 9 February 2007 (UTC)

Deaf-mute

Hi Taric25. I'm seeking opinions and possible support for an issue in which I'm in a debate with other Wikipedians. I'm trying to change indiscrimant use of the term "deaf-mute" in describing deaf people in general. To see some comments related to the issue, see Talk:The Heart Is a Lonely Hunter, as well as my own Talk page, User talk:Ward3001. You can also follow the links to other discussions. Right now I'm about the only person addressing the issue because deaf people are such a small minority. Other Wikipedians, with apparently no prior knowledge of the issue, are reverting my edits. MANY THANKS for your comments on Talk:The Heart Is a Lonely Hunter! Now, I'm again asking those who commented against using "deaf-mute" to once again help me out. There is a persistent user who has repeatedly reverted "deaf" to "deaf-mute", and has again reverted (and probably will do so again until this issue is mediated [in process] or arbitrated). So far only two of us have reverted it back to "deaf". If others could please put The Heart Is a Lonely Hunter on your watchlist and revert when necessary, I think it would have a much bigger impact. Just be careful not to violate the 3-revert-rule. As I'm writing this, the article is OK, but the persistent reverter probably will strike again. There are four instances in the article where "deaf" is being reverted to "deaf-mute". I would greatly appreciate others in addition to myself making the reverts back to "deaf". I've really lost my patience in dealing with this. A citation is just as unnecessary as an image for the article, and the Super Mario Cruft has got to stop, there. They're in the game, we know that. Why hello hello. I got your message on my talk page, and I'd be glad to help;. The only problem with me is, I'm not available on Wikipedia sometimes. Also, my SMRPG is all in Japanese, so I have to get a translator, or have to learn Japanese. I could get a ROM file, but since that's illegal, I don't want to go that far. I'm also not too great at Wikipedia (in other words, im a newbie).

Categories

Hi! You should study the category system a bit more before making changes such as the ones you have made to Category:User ase and its subcategories. The categories are a hierarcy, and it is thus unnecessary to list Category:User ase-2 in all of the categories you added to it. Read more about categories on Wikipedia:Categories. Yeah, it's not in Unicode yet. They reserved 256 spaces for it, but it would take tens of thousands of spaces to do it right, and the technical work to implement it in Unicode would require a lot of funding and is years away. In the meantime, the SignWriting community has developed an alternative method of generating SignWriting text, through the SignText and SignPuddle programs. See http://www.signbank.org/signpuddle/ . There's a lot of technical discussion on exactly how to make SignWriting work with Wikipedia at meta:Special projects subcommittees/Languages/Archives/2007-04#Wikipedia American Sign Language, which I don't pretend to fully understand. Fact is, creating a American Sign Language Wikipedia using SignWriting will probably be an important step in attracting the recognition and programming funding needed for the eventual full implementation in Unicode.--Pharos 21:21, 17 April 2007 (UTC)

Right now, I'm concentrating a lot of my work on Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars. My short–term goal is to expand the article with a short character summary as well as the full article List of characters in Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars, a short location summary with the full article List of locations in characters in Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars, music with the full article Super Mario RPG: Orignal Sound Version and some audio clips comparing the music of Final Fantasy with Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars, specifically "Royal Palace (王家の宮殿 Ōke no Kyūden)" and "Hello, Happy Kingdom as well as "Beware The Forest's Mushrooms" and "Rawest Forest". My long term goal for the article is to get it to featured status. In addition, although I am a person who is Hearing, I know Sign Language and like Deaf culture. Talk About Talk

look my ideas over and think about it. see if you think this is a good idea or if you have any questions. heres the plan.

1) Archive any part of the page that has already been resolved. This way much of the inactive clutter is removed.

2) After that you are left with the relevant\recent conversation. now i suggest that you post a {{reorganizing}} or {{refactoring}} tag on the page and refactor it, which is a way to summarize and clean up others posts.

Cleaning up the page is needed as its growing to an almost unmanageable state. I think its a good improvement no matter what. this will automatically make the conversation easier to follow and read... as having countless comments on a page can discourage new editors from wanting to read all of it and that often causes them to repeat questions or comments because they dont have the time to read everything.
Also, the other editor saying that it should be left alone just because other pages are like that is a bad reason. Wikipedia is about doing whats best for Wikipedia and if that is putting it in a different order, then thats what should be done. my advice is to do the above, clean it up and archive the inactive sections. after you have done that and everyone is cool with it, take a look at things and see if it needs to be reformatted into groups and not by dates. If after that you still feel that it needs to change, let me know and i'll look over it to see what the best way to move on from there. let me know what you think about this and if you have any questions. Personally, I think list of locations in a video game is not very encyclopedic, if they can't be put into a paragraph in the game description, maybe it is better not to keep it. Especially if the location is not really known. The Rainbow Road in Mario Kart games is a classic that has appeared in many games of the series, however some of those locations have appeared just once. Some paragraphs are walkthroughs, something policy forbids. In example,

The third and final area, east of the second, is the largest of the three. Vegetation is closer in appearance to the first area than the second, and other life is different from both. Spikeys, sometimes appearing in battle with a Sky Troopa, and a lone Spikey–dropping Lakitu inhabit the third and final area that widens into a small field in the east. Hammer Bros. guard the exit leading to the Mushroom Kingdom from anyone who dares come near, and Mario defeats them, freeing the exit.

You need to find references other than the game itself, like a printed guide, a manual, an interview with the developers, etc, to make it better. Right now, it appears to be a good attempt but lacking a lot of real-life information. Cheers! -- ReyBrujo 01:25, 15 May 2007 (UTC)

Yes, you're right that it needs more sources as well as rewriting. I wrote the entire article myself in less than a week, but I do have quite a bit of sources, such as Game Informer, Nintendo Power, and the game's manual. I also just ordered a book about video games from another library so I could get some citations from it. i moved it to the template page. no, those involved are not notified, as this is used to have editors comment on the policy and structure. whether its acceptable to add the additional section you are proposing. if the rfc members indicate that such changes are justified then you can say that it isnt just your opinion but those of the community, in addition to the gaming project. my summary is to stay neutral. i dont need to describe what changes are proposed, just that their are changes. editors will come and read more about it. the idea is to get what the problem is about, not the specifics. anything else needing clarification ?

Re:SMRPG locations

It looks really good. Sorry I can't help too directly; I'm in the middle of a bad week at school. Lots of stuff going on. Off the top of my head, try to condense the actual locations into seven sections (one for each star) and make it prose. That'll go a long way. I like to concept/creation and reception sections. {{User en-sc}} is an outdated template, replaced by {{User en-gb-sct}}. In order to mark Category:User en-sc for speedy deletion per WP:CSD#C3, I had to empty the category by replacing the old teplate with the new one on each user's user page. This wasn't difficult, since there were only three of you.

This practice is not uncommon. Wikipedia:WikiProject Deaf recently did the same with all Wikipedians who were using {{User ASL}} by editing their userpages and replacing them with {{User ase}}. Since the category is still marked for speedy deletion, I will replace the outdated template again. If you prefer, you may also use {{User en-gb-sct-N}} if you are a native speaker of Scottish English. Cheers! Taric25 13:44, 20 September 2007 (UTC)

Go read your userpage! Take a look at Wikipedia:WikiProject Deaf. I changed over 60 userpages when we overhauled {{User ASL}} to {{User ase}}. Listen carefully. If you break the 3RR, I will notify that you have broken it. I am behaving per policy. The categories no longer exist, because all the users who used the template (all three of you), have been moved to the new category. This is exactly what has been done before time and again with other templates.

I don't even see what's the big deal? You didn't even have your template categorized properly so that the levels 1 2, 3, 4, & 5 showed up in Category:User en. The only one that did was N. In addition, the userbox wasn't even listed in Wikipedia:Userboxes/Non-ISO Languages until I did yesterday, so how was anyone supposed to even find out about the template, unless they just so happened to stumble upon it in the whole three userpages on which it was used?

Things to do to organize Mario RPG lists

First of all I was thinking of greatly reducing the the profiles for Mario, Bowser, and Peach, however I can modify the links to their pages to the section of that page and I have already confirmed that Bowser and Peach's pages in the least already have the details of the plot detail from Super Mario RPG. The point is the material won't be wasted most of it will be detailed in their personal page and I have seen some successful attempts of this strategy by performed before. -Adv193 15:54, 29 September 2007 (UTC)

Wikipedia:WikiProject Scotland wants to use {{User en-sc}} for Scottish English, and I have suggested they follow ISO code to use {{User en-gb-sct}} instead and allow en-sc instead for Seychellois English, per the ISO 3166-1 alpha-2 having "sc" Seychelles and ISO 3166-1:GB#BS-only codes having "gb-sct" as Scotland, just like ISO 3166-1:US having "us-ca" for California and {{User en-us-ca}} for California English. Could you please take a look at Wikipedia:User categories for discussion#Scottish English and give your thoughts? Thanks!

Why is the development section empty? It's not comprehensive, which is a GA requirement. A list of fictional locations and such do not meet notability guidelines, in my opinion. The article is actually already at GA status, but that's not why I came to you. I saw you had responded on video game articles, so I decided to drop a message. I also believe that a list of fictional locations is not notable. The arcticle should be renamed to something like World of Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars or Mushroom Kingdom (Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars) just like World of Final Fantasy VI or Gaia (Final Fantasy VII). I believe if these articles are to evolve beyond a non-notable list, they should be renamed. For example, List of Final Fantasy VII locations was merged into Gaia (Final Fantasy VII), because a World article is notable, but a simple list of fictional locations is not. About replaceable fair use images...

I'm fully aware of the rules governing replaceable fair-use images. But for future reference, please bear in mind that I am not the original uploader of these pictures. A couple of months ago I went through and resized hundreds upon hundreds of these; doing this is necessary for a fair use claim. The original (non-resized) versions of these were deleted, therefore, the pictures appear to be uploaded by me, but they are not. Again, as I said on the talk page of the main article, I am currently willing to discuss content that is unreferenced and does not allude to other media, such as the geography section. Per Wikipedia:BOLD, revert, discuss cycle, I would like you to listen very carefully. You are trying to get my full and considered views, because I care enough to disagree with your edits. If you do not listen and do not try to find consensus, you are wasting everyone's time. Thus, per Wikipedia:Consensus#Consensus can change, I am offering you a reasonable, temporary compromise to integrate my ideas with yours.

Now, here's the part to which you have to you have to listen very carefully. I am offering you a temporary compromise. If you want to us to reach a consensus, then you have to prove to me that you are interested in working on the article in regards to improving it. You really hurt my feelings when you wrote, "I am not interested in working on the article in regards to improving it." I felt like you didn't care about my edits and that you were wasting my time, so first of all, I would like you to take back what you said, because it really hurt my feelings. If you can honestly say that you'll change your interest in the article with a genuine desire to improve it, then I can learn to trust you, and eventually, we will work on the rest of the sections, such as metaphysics, languages, concept & creation, etc. Once that happens, I will be more than happy top discuss sourced content. See, you're not offering a compromise; you're completely avoiding the issue at hand. My claim is that the article is just fluff. Your response is to ignore that and just keep going on your own path. I have asked for a third opinion in the past, and that person agreed with me. Many of the people from the video game project said the same thing. And even bypassers have said the same thing. This is not just my way to destroy the article or remove your work.

Honestly, would it hurt to go my way even a little? Is it going to kill you to remove information? The answer is no, so excuse my bad faith assumption, but given the fact that you haven't touched upon any of these issues at all, I have to assume you're purposely ignoring them to avoid having to remove anything. It has nothing to do with consensus. For example, it is the fact that I have mentioned the part about the Smithy Gang in languages to be OR many times. Even before this latest discussion, you never once acknowledged it enough to even explain why it isn't OR. I already removed the junk from the geography section, replaced it with a decent starting paragraph, and you just reverted it.

In fact, it was because we could not come to a consensus that I even offered a temporary compromise. I did not ignore you when you brought the languages section up, because when you wrote, "I'm going to chop the OR (most of the language section)", I replied with "I really don't mind if you chop anything, as long as isn't referenced, meaning it doesn't have a citation, or if it doesn't allude to outside media. The problem is, the entire languages and metaphysics section is referenced, so if you wanna' start chopping, would you please start with the Geography section?" It was after that you did the exact opposite of what I offered. If you would have cut unreferenced text from the Geography section that didn't allude to other media, then I would have accepted that and been more than happy to discuss the languages section, but you went against the consensus I thought we had established.

Star Trek images

Hello, I received a message from you that I do not understand. I have posted some images of Star Trek characters on the character pages, and they are non-free images. If you are questioning that free use images of the Trek characters can be obtained, they cannot, as they are fictional characters and all images of them are such copyrighted. Are you questioning all character images for all television shows throughout Wikipedia? The only image I uploaded of Uhura was a screencap, and it was later repalced by another user who claimed it was free use replacing the non-free use, and I never changed it back. As far as Bakula and Trinneer go, the images again aren't mine, and have a rationale saying they were taken by US military, making them free. Any use of character images on actor pages, if that might be in question, is prohibited, and I have removed several, as we need free use real world images for the actor pages. We must always use free images of fictional characters, if the images exist and we can obtain them. For example, Image:Nichelle-Nichols-GPN-2004-00017.jpg is a free image, because it is on the NASA website, even though the character is copyrighted, just like Image:Elvis presley.jpg from Jailhouse Rock is copyrighted; it's also free, since it's on the Library of Congress website. Thus, Image:Scott Bakula.jpg and Image:Connor Trinneer.jpg are also free. Image:CharlesTucker.jpg and Image:Image-Star Trek Archer.jpg are not, however, we are allowed to use copyrighted images if we can use them under fair use. Just showing how something looks is unacceptable. Making a critical commentary of it is. When you last edited the image description page, it looked like this, and it had one line explaining the fair use “to illustrate the object in question”. First, that fails a criterion for fair use. Second, a free image showing how Jonathan Archer looks already exists. To simply write "Captain Jonathan Archer" in the image caption like this of an non-free image is unacceptable, because we're not making critical commentary of the image.

I overhauled the image description page, to look like this, which is acceptable. Then, I gave the rationale for fair use that it was describing the character as he appears in the first season, something the free image does not. When I readded the image to the article, it looked like this. Notice, in the image's caption, I wrote, "In “Fortunate Son”, Archer explains to Travis Mayweather why the crew of the Fortunate can't kill Nausicaans as a matter of revenge , “Just because someone wasn't born on Earth doesn't make them any less Human.”" I also gave a reference in the form of a citation. That is very different from just writing "Captain Jonathan Archer". In the image caption, I gave the source and when the image occurs (Episode name), and described the object in question. In the citation, I gave the name of the director, writer, actors in question, airdate, company, media, location, and the quote. When you give all the information and you make a critical commentary of the object in question, then that is fair use.

Also understand that none of this is my job. I was just doing this to be nice. It is the responsability of the Wikipedian claiming fair use to give all the necessary information. I also had some pictures of Bakula and Trinneer in real life, so I uploaded them and added them to Scott Bakula and Connor Trinneer. Feel free to take a look. First of all, I accept your apology, because I can understand how the situation may have frustrated you without further knowledge of Wikipedia policy. Let me help you out. Per Wikipedia:User page#Ownership and editing of pages in the user space, “Other users may edit pages in your user space” and “In some cases, material that does not somehow further the goals of the project may be removed”. Please understand that having a userbox on your userpage that had an ISO for a different country other than decided by the community's consensus on your userpage did not further the goals of the project, so that is why I removed it by replacing it with the correct one, per policy. In addition, I had to remove it, in order to categorize it propperly, per Wikipedia:Category deletion policy#Speedy criteria and Wikipedia:Criteria for speedy deletion#Categories.

Also, this is not the first time I have done this. On Wikipedia:WikiProject Deaf, I was responsible for editing over 60 userpages to change {{User ASL}} to {{User ase}}, per the ISO code, a verified, reliable source as well as that WikiProject's consensus. (By the way, I am not Deaf, but I do have many Deaf friends and a near-native understanding of American Sign Language.) To date, I haven't had any Wikipeidans, Deaf or otherwise, comment on why I changed the userbox on their userpages. I hope I've been of some help clearing this up for you. Cheers! Thank you for directing me to the correct section, however, I will agree to translate one condition. Many publishers of free content, such as myself, do not support the GNU license, because we believe it is too limiting. For example, I publish all my work under an Attribution license, meaning that I copyright my work, but you may use if for any purpose, as if it was public domain, as long as you attribute me. GFDL limits users with its exclusions of front and back cover texts, invariant sections, burdens when printing, etc. Even the GNU GPL does, because the GPL terms require that all modified versions must in turn be licensed under the GPL and, whilst the GPL does allow commercial sale of anything licensed under the GPL, it effectively fixes the price at zero since the purchasers may redistribute for free.

Thus I will only translate that section for you if you include easy instructions for users to choose to ask for free content under another license in addition to the GNU, such as attribution, BSD license, etc. Taric25 00:57, 7 October 2007 (UTC)

Yes, but you still had the image under fair use. It is not fair use, because it is a work of the US Federal Government. It is public domain, so anyone can use it for any purpose without any permision or attribution. Fair use only applies to something that is non-free. In that case, you need to remove the fair use tag you were using, {{Non-free fair use in}} and replace it with {{PD-USGov-DOJ}} for the Department of Justice. Don't worry, I already did it for you. If you want to get a better idea of what tags to use in the future, Wikipedia:Image copyright tags is a great place to look to get a better idea of what tags to use for imags and other uploaded files. Category:2006 - The pictures were taken in 2006. Category:1985 births - The subject was born in 1985. Category:Living people - The subject is a person who is still living. Category:People by alphabet - The subject has a first and last name, with a {{DEFAULTSORT}} template included. Adult models from the United States - The subject is an adult model from the United states. Please understand that Wikimedia Commons is not censored, including the artwork in question. There is an order for all photos on Commons. YOur Talk page is on wikipedia so don't put photos here at all please. A photo goes in a Gallery article, the article goes in a Category. It is only necessary to link the main Category to a category elsewhere, NOT THE IMAGES. Your main Category is your name. Only this name category should be lnked to Adult models, or Births, or Porn stars etc etc. You are placing images in upper level Categories and this is not allowed or accepted by most, only a few. In your pphoto images you should only have one Category, the one with your name. In your name Category you can make the other links. Does this make sense?WayneRay 10:11, 8 October 2007 (UTC)WayneRay

OK I have put your name category in all the main Categories you had listed. That is all that is necessary. When people see your name they can go to the appropriate Category, the other photos of other people shold be removed as well and put in appropriate articles or categories but that is a lot of work and not my area of expertise. It is the same Category tree, the name article has only one photograph, the name article is connected to the next level Category with your name, that is the main Category that should be connected to all the other categories you want it to be in. If you connect the name article and the name category then you appear twice, with identicle information. Technically, in my opinion, since there is a duplicate photo in the article and the category, you should have only the name Category available and remove the article gallery, HOWEVER, if you move all the photos into the gallery article you have a chance to organize them better and add sections you can't in Categories. Please understand these are different categories entirely, and they only apply for images that do not apply to all images of me. For example, not all the pictures in Category:Taric Alani feature autofellatio. That is why I have only added the two that feature autofellatio to Category:Autofellatio. Excuse me but if you do not know why something is as it is please do not edit it. You not only changed a template to a wrong version but also left the residue behind. Hi. You tagged Image:Super Empire Strikes Back box art.jpg with {{Db-redundantimage}} to mark it for speedy deletion under CSD I1 as being redundant with Image:Super Star Wars - The Empire Strikes Back Coverart.png. These two files are in different file formats, so this is not a valid CSD I1 speedy. The jpg image was already tagged as an orphaned non-free image, so no further action was necessary to have the image deleted. Hi Matthew! Long time no talk. I've been having a problem with Wikipedia in general recently. It seems I'm so afraid to contribute unless my edits are perfect, so I spend hours on a single edit so no one will revert it. I realize this is usually the result of not taking a Wikibreak, but this is not the case for me. A little while ago, I hadn't edited Wikipedia in a few weeks and I looked up something in Mathmatics: Knuth's up-arrow notation. I understood it, but I realized that someone unfamiliar with variables would find it very difficult to understand. I spend 5 hours learning LaTeX and in order to create an edit that looked perfect. I gave up and never made the edit. The next day, I came back to it, and I did contribute; I think it looks really nice. The problem is, I spend so much time perfecting my edits, sometimes I don't contribuite at all. I spend 18 hours editing Subtitle (captioning), but I never contributed my edit, because I hadn't perfected what I was going to say on the talk page. (By the way, if you take a look at Talk:Closed captioning, you'll see my fear is justified as the editors are regularly uncivil swearing at each other and calling each other liars and whatnot.) I really liked editing Wikipedia, but it seems that my experiances with certain editors has made me so jaded that I have to perfect my edits so other editors won't revert.

This also has to do with List of locations in Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars. I wanted to split up the Geography section into the regional maps the adventures use when traveling from one to another, by titling them with their respective names from the player's guide. (By the way, TTN never ever did come up with the players guide he claims to own. I randomly ran into one online someone scanned when I was searching for the ROM, which is awesome, because now I can cite that source.) Someone else also suggested we do this, I said that I would provide the picute of each regional map, because, as Nintendo Power magazine writes, “Mario receives a map of the World from the Mushroom Kingdom's Chancellor. The world is so huge, though, that the map can't show the details of Mario's route, and he can only see them in the regional maps the adventures use when journeying from one part to another.” Thus, since we're providing a critical commentary on the details of Mario's route, the world in which he exists, then I belive it is fair use to use an image of each of the regional maps the adventures use when journeying from one part to another next to each subsection of the geography secion. TTN does not. To overcome this, I had to find an editor within WikiProject Video games, WikiProject Nintendo, or WikiProject Square Enix who was online at the same time I was so I could tag the images currently in the article with {{fairusereview}} and have the other editor immediately replace the tag with {{Reviewedfairuse}}. Luckily, User:Yngvarr was able to do that for me, but when I asked if it wouldn't be too much trouble to review the fair use for the images I wanted to add to the geography section, I didn't get a reply, but I did leave you a message. I didn't find another user. I just gave up and didn't contribute, because I didn't wanted to avoid a battle I would possibly lose to TTN about what is fair use and what is not by stopping TTN dead in the tracks with a fair use review in order to prevent TTN from being able to claim the images of the regional maps the adventures use when journeying from one part to another are not fair use.

You know, if you could help me, I would be glad to get back on track with the article. There are a few more sections I want to add before I submit it for GA review, such as religion and creatures & races, in order to match the other WikiPrject Video game world articles, such as World of Final Fantasy VIII.

Uh, it's not that the images themselves that fail the policy; it's that per WP:NFCC point 3a, a large number of fair use images are not to be used. You cannot justify six images for one section when the one image of the world details it perfectly fine. That is the least of your worries regarding the article, though. That is a policy that deals with actual laws; a small consensus on a page does not override it. Please note "Multiple items are not used if one will suffice." One will suffice, and using multiple images like that is frowned upon in general, so that's about it. TTN 21:52, 6 November 2007 (UTC)

Again, I wanted to split up the Geography section into the regional maps the adventures use when traveling from one to another, by titling them with their respective names from the player's guide. Someone else also suggested we do this, I said that I would provide the picute of each regional map, because, as Nintendo Power magazine writes, “Mario receives a map of the World from the Mushroom Kingdom's Chancellor. The world is so huge, though, that the map can't show the details of Mario's route, and he can only see them in the regional maps the adventures use when journeying from one part to another.” Thus, since we're providing a critical commentary on the details of Mario's route, the world in which he exists, then I belive it is fair use to use an image of each of the regional maps the adventures use when journeying from one part to another next to each subsection of the geography secion, that is, one image per subsection. Whether or not either you or I believe it is fair use or not is unimportant. The only thing that matters is what the community decides, and if another Wikipedian reviews the fair use of the images and determines that they are do qualify for fair use in the article, then that does “override it”, per Wikipedia:Fair use review. That is what I am doing, per consensus. I would take their comments into further consideration if they would actually contribute more to the discussions. Many of the people who support your POV, such as yourself, have never even contibuted to the articles. You know TTN, if you could show me one shred of information that you actually contributed to the articles, then I would be much more willing to cooperate with you, but you have never contributed anything to any of the articles. Yeah, you've deleted, merged, reverted, and refactored, but I have neither ever once seen you, nor many of the people who support you, add any original content. Speaking of deletion nomitations, it was during that discussion that you received complaints from other editors of the articles that instead of merging articles, you should try to write a little on your own, and then we can see if you are worthy of calling an article "crappy". It was at that point I reminded you that if you do not listen and do not try to find consensus by trying to get the full and considered views of those who care enough to disagree with your edits, you are wasting everyone's time. I remind you now that deliberate and intentional attempts to disrupt the usability of Wikipedia for its editors is trolling. Stating that you own the player's guide and refusing to contribute content from it because you are unwilling to retrieve it for whatever reason disrupts the usability of editing the article by denying us that source. Wow, that is a bad case of WP:OWN. Nobody has to add content (deleting and merging content is contributing, by the way) to an article in order to want it fixed, merged, removed, or anything else. If that seriously is your reason for ignoring them (I doubt it), then you really, really need to take a step back and look at what you're doing. I guess that ends this discussion. I am dead serious that I will deny recognition to anyone who makes a deliberate and intentional attempt to disrupt the usability of Wikipedia for its editors by refusing to add content and only deletes, merges, reverts, and refactors, which otherwise are valid contributions, when multiple editors complain that you need write on your own, and it is not because I am taking ownership of articles. It is because you are denying us a reliable source and disrupting our ability to use the articles, so yeah, that does end this discussion. Unless you decide to add content, goodbye.
