Table in source? edit

{{Help me}}

Good morning! I'm trying to edit a table in Classes of offenses under United States federal law; however, the table is shown in the source as {{United States federal offense classes}}, which I can't figure out how to edit. I'm clearly not using the right search terms; could you explain what the double-curly-bracket table variable is called and how to edit it? Many thanks! The curly braces represent a template being transcluded on to a page - you can edit them by navigating to the page "Template:<curly bracket contents>", so in this case: Template:United_States_federal_offense_classes. When editing templates, please bear in mind that any changes you make will automatically be reflected everywhere the template is used. Hope this helps! ƒirefly ( t · c ) 14:46, 18 February 2021 (UTC)Reply
Perfect--"template" is the word I was missing. Thanks for your help! Tadzweil (talk) 15:04, 18 February 2021 (UTC)Reply
