Speedy deletion nomination of D. Harold McNamara edit

Hello T8yq2B96,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged D. Harold McNamara for deletion, because it appears to duplicate an existing Wikipedia article, Delbert H. McNamara.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Howicus (talk) 15:49, 28 June 2013 (UTC)Reply

And I just saw that you added a speedy notice to Delbert H. McNamara. Which title do you want the article to be at? Delbert H. McNamara would be the usual title. Howicus (talk) 15:51, 28 June 2013 (UTC)Reply

You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. -- ТимофейЛееСуда. 22:42, 17 February 2014 (UTC)Reply

ТимофейЛееСуда, I don't understand how to respond to this message so I'm adding a response here hoping that you will see it. I uploaded a different picture which has been previously published on the Internet and hope that that fulfills all the requirements for images. I find it very difficult to add images to Wikipedia articles. Is there any way to just use an original picture and only grant the right to use in the Wikipedia article?

You've responded correctly here. The new image is fine, as it meets all of the requirements. I updated the source link to a more appropriate one. Now the old image will be deleted, but the new one will stay. Cheers, -- ТимофейЛееСуда. 19:52, 19 February 2014 (UTC)Reply
