As Classification

After finally getting the opportunity to review Koppen's definition of As climates, it turns out that you indeed are correct. The Summer/high sun season in Koppen's system runs from April through September. Thanks for your work on this. If you're up for it, feel free to make similar changes on the tropical climate page. G. Adding Citations to Suburbs

Firstly, many thanks for your contributions to Wikipedia.

I have noticed that you have added wrong citations for the suburb articles. I have fixed in one instance (Benobble, Queensland. However, I noticed the same in another(Bunburra, Queensland) as well.

Pamplona, Spain

Apologies for the delay in response. In order for a climate to be considered a subtropical highland climate as opposed to oceanic, it would have to be a clear-cut case that a climate would be tropical or humid subtropical if it wasn't for the location's altitude. Pamplona could arguably still be Oceanic at sea-level because Pamplona's altitude is only 1500 feet. This is clearly the case for locations such as Bogota, Curitiba, Johannesburg and Kunming. population centres and localities in Queensland

When the Queensland Place Names database says something is a "population centre", then for Wikipedia purposes it means a "town" not a locality. Small towns exist within localities (often with the same name) but not always. Town articles go in the Category:Towns in Queensland not Category:Localities in Queensland (unless they are both a town and a locality article -- a common situation with small rural towns -- there is not enough to say about each of them separately to warrant separate articles, but for larger towns that span multiple localities/suburbs, we usually have a separate article for the town and its central suburb (which often but not always has the same name).

Towns are defined by a centre point, whereas a locality has a boundary (but the QPN only reports the centroid of that boundary). You need to use the Queensland Globe to see locality boundaries and hence what locality the town is in.

As far as Queensland goes, I believe all localities have a Wikipedia article already. So any missing topic is probably a small town within a locality of a different name e.g. Portland Road, Queensland.

Localities in Queensland are not considered "within" other localities by the Queensland Government so please don't say this; they are all distinct areas and collectively divide up all of the state's land. The Queensland Government defines our state's geography. What the Census does is entirely for their own statistical convenience. While the ABS do try to reflect the official boundaries published by the various state governments for census purposes, for towns or localities with tiny populations, the ABS often don't report them separately because of concerns about anonymity so they sometimes aggregate them for their purposes of providing privacy to the residents. Nothing the census does has any bearing on the official geography and therefore has no impact of what we say in Wikipedia (other than we cannot report a population figure in some cases).
