I just uploaded an image to Infinite Corridor. I made sure the license was OK (Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike), but I'm not sure if I need to put the photo credit (for the 'attribution' part of the license) in the caption. My intuition says that this is the fairest way to do it, since most readers won't click through to see the file details. But is that a good practice from a Wikipedian POV? -- Sylvar 13:12, 4 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

Yeah, that's common practice to do that, and it looks fine to me :) -- 9cds(talk) 13:15, 4 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

Is there a list of articles that need photographs to illustrate the subject? Sylvar 14:02, 20 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

Hi, please see the Category:Wikipedia requested images category. Many Wikiprojects also have their own list of articles needing photographs and other images. Cheers, Tangotango 14:11, 20 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

HelpMe edit

Caging list has many problems (out of date, NPOV, etc.) but I don't see anything else explaining what exactly 'caging' is. What's the best thing to do here? Nuke it from orbit? -- Sylvar 13:21, 2 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

Take a look over Category:Wikipedia_maintenance_templates and Wikipedia:Template_messages/Cleanup#Specific_issues and see what will work best. (I think the nuke from orbit is in there, and Commander_Keane says to talk to User:The_Anome.) -- Wirelain 13:29, 2 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

Admiral C. Jones edit

Hard to say -- Chuck Amuck (the contributor spelled it Amok) isn't indexed, and it's a hard book to skim, because I keep finding myself slowing down to read it. —tregoweth (talk) 23:30, 29 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Mike Gravel images edit

Hi, I saw your comments on Wikipedia:Possibly unfree images#July 2. Have you already heard something from the webmaster? Garion96 (talk) 21:04, 19 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Yes, we've cleaned this up. Thanks! Sylvar 14:36, 22 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of File:Ilaprazole.png edit

The file File:Ilaprazole.png has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

unused, low-res, no obvious use

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.

This bot DID NOT nominate any file(s) for deletion; please refer to the page history of each individual file for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 01:02, 16 April 2020 (UTC)Reply
