Help please
Hi Susan, I'm having a lot of trouble at the Duluth article. An editor has been deleting entire sections without a talk page discussion first, for instance almost all of the historic Native American information, the Minnesota surfing section, and just now the Beargrease marathon section. He wants all photos on the right per what he says is MOS and he is concerned that there are too many ship photos and refuses to let me include two in a new section I added about shipping in Duluth. I feel that shipping is the very lifeblood of Duluth and that Duluth and Lake Superior are special and unique in the U.S. I have had to fight to get an agate photo while the Lake Superior agate is unique to Duluth and the surrounding area. This was discussed in earlier posts and there was a consensus to include an agate photo and you were one of the that felt it was appropriate. I am really starting to tear my hair out and don't know where to turn for help. Any suggestions? Sectionworker (talk) 14:56, 1 February 2022 (UTC)
- Hello, Sectionworker. Sorry but no, I haven't time to devote to Duluth right now. You're going to have to find other allies (years ago I'd have suggested in WikiProject Minnesota, but that's quiet now). Certainly shipping is Duluth's "very lifeblood." I must disagree with the call on right alignment. Left-side images can potentially disrupt lists so maybe it's easier for MOS to call right-side the default. Certainly Minneapolis had a layout of alternating right and left in each section, and that made it through featured article review.
