HI there - I've responded, but at Talk:SS South Steyne where I've also moved your comment for reference. You shoudl respond there in future - don't worry, i will see any comments made on the talk page which is on my watchilist. I suggest you read WP:V first.

It's great to have a contributor like yourself who knows a lot about the South Steyne, however, on the other hand, I know a lot about wikipedia - it's not that anyone disputes the truthfulness of your information, rather we are saying it must be from a realiable published sources for inclusion. Plenty of sources from the time noted the fire was "suspicious" and the day before the decision on which boats were to be kept. Perhaps that's the way forward, rather than a "trust me, i was there" comment which doens't meet wikipedia standard for inclusion. thanks --Merbabu (talk) 01:58, 14 July 2019 (UTC)
