Speedy deletion nomination of File:Tom McCabe Lansdowne 1988.jpeg edit

A tag has been placed on File:Tom McCabe Lansdowne 1988.jpeg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a non-free file from a commercial source (e.g. Associated Press, Getty Images), where the file itself is not the subject of sourced commentary. If you can explain why the file can be used under the fair use guidelines, please add the appropriate fair use tag and rationale.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. -- Marchjuly (talk) 00:20, 28 December 2021 (UTC)Reply

Hi, have added references to the page, hopefully they will suffice.

@Liz: Hi Liz, are you content with the references? He is one of 262 Full Irish Rugby League internationals and this is the test page to add them all. The reference that most proves his international cap would be the video of the actual game (on Youtube, from ESPN). The older international reports are far harder to find but luckily a group endorsed by International Rugby League, the Rugby Recordkeepers club (RKC), will soon release a complete copy of all international fixtures, players, scores and scorers. I, as the historian for Ireland, have drafted all the relevant parts of the Irish history of games.

Hope this clarifies the page and what's to come from it (the remaining full internationals without pages).
