Welcome!

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and vote pages using three tildes, like this: ~~~. How to encourage someone to check a fact? edit

Salve, Stephen Turner!
Saw your query at Wikipedia:Help desk about how to alert Wikipedians to possible errors and I posted the reply below:

  • The talk page is indeed the first place to start as anyone who has the underlying article on his watch list will be alerted to the presence of additions to the talk page. Be sure that you give it an edit summary that will prompt someone to read your query, something like: "Two Contradictory Death Dates in Article" or some such thing. Another good place for this is our reference desk at WP:RD, which is seen by a lot of people who know about many topics. I'm copying your questions there now. Glad to have you aboard.

Hope this helps. Ave! PedanticallySpeaking 15:22, Nov 13, 2004 (UTC)

Cricinfo article edit

Hello S.T., After re-reading the article. I found out that you were just simply trying to make the article easier to understand and so I have reverted back to your version. The reason in which I has reverted your version without comment, which I have to admit I was quite wrong in doing so was that I did not want to compromise any information from the article. Thanks. Geraint Jones edit

Thanks for correcting the page Stephen. I'm not sure it's worth adding, but Geraint Jones is also a qualified pharmacy technician!
