File copyright problem with File:Bora Milutinović.jpg edit

File Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading File:Bora Milutinović.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. J Milburn (talk) 11:06, 30 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

Where did you get the picture? Did you make it yourself? J Milburn (talk) 11:12, 30 June 2009 (UTC)Reply
No. Wikipedia cannot have pictures from the Internet unless they have been released under a free license. If you have any questions about whether images have been released, you can ask me on my talk page, or ask at the media copyright questions page. Perhaps you would be more interested in helping the Italian Wikipedia? J Milburn (talk) 11:30, 30 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

Unreferenced BLPs edit

Hello Stephan Sensuality! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is tagged as an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to insure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. if you were to bring this article up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 944 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:

June 2014 edit

Hello, I'm Warrenkychu. I noticed that you recently removed some content from 1993–94 UEFA Champions League without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; I restored the removed content. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks! Copying within Wikipedia requires proper attribution edit

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Mani pulite into Timeline of Italian history. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. The attribution has been provided for this situation, but if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, please provide attribution for that duplication. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. If you are the sole author of the prose that was moved, attribution is not required. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 00:23, 15 January 2017 (UTC)Reply

Image without license edit

Unspecified source/license for File:1992 European Cup Final programme.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading File:1992 European Cup Final programme.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. Even if you created the image yourself, you still need to release it so Wikipedia can use it. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time after the next seven days. If you made this image yourself, you can use copyright tags like {{PD-self}} (to release all rights), {{self|cc-by-sa-4.0}} (to require that you be credited), or any tag here - just go to the image, click edit, and add one of those. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

Proposed deletion of Cameroon v Colombia (1990 FIFA World Cup) edit

The article Cameroon v Colombia (1990 FIFA World Cup) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Unreferenced, WP:MILL, memorable anecdotally for eccentric goalkeeper being outsmarted by veteran striker and for progression of Cameroon to QF but don't see how it merits a standalone article, at least not without a lot more work done on it that has been done in its 9-year existence

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
