Hi State of origin is our Business name and has been for 15 years, it is also out website domain name being www.stateoforigin.com.au. Our business has been registered and trading for 15 plus years. All of our records and banging detials etc are associated as our name State of origin. We have also been a member on this site now for 14 plus year I guess. You should be able to check that.

Please review the Username policy. Usernames cannot be that of a business. If you want the business name in your username, it is only permitted if the name identifies you as an individual user("JohnPublic of Stateoforigin" or something similar). Yes I understand thanks, I just want articles to read correctly and accurate. We only make simple changes where necessary to reflect the article. The changes made today were brought up by other readers in the talk pages. If there is any thing substantial we will add to the propose changes. Also we love the work your team does.

Have a read of Wikipedia:Article titles. Article names reflect common usage. In this case, "State of Origin series" is a much better title than "Rugby League NRL State of Origin series". Mattlore (talk) 23:57, 24 January 2017 (UTC)Reply
Ideally, you should suggest any substantive changes on the article talk page first, and not perform them yourself. If you are paid for your work here or you are editing as part of your job, you are required by the Terms of Use to comply with the paid editing policy and declare such status. Hi thanks for the msg, you have blocked someone that knows information correct, information that can only assist the foundation of the article itself and Wikipedia , I wasn't sure of the process of changing the name of a page, now I am aware, having accurate information can only assist the page. The business name is the same as the website, but I am an individual and have a very good understanding of the State of Origin and how it works, who owns it etc as I have been involved with the name for 20 years, my user name yes is the same as the Rugby League State of origin event, I don't want to use my real name. I have checked the page user name policy and there is nothing about using a business name as a username that I can see. I would think that the only smart thing I didn’t do here is use a bogs name like some of the editors. The fact that I have edited the page without using the discussion page I do apologise, but look at the changes I made, how can that help me even if I had a COI, Stateoforigin (talk) 09:03, 25 January 2017 (UTC)Reply
