Peer Review

Hi ssjGGV,

My name is Vien and I chose your article for a Peer Review assignment. Here are some of my suggestions:

I think the sections are generally short in lengths and they need more elaborated details. Since both sections “Soil Moisture” and “Soil Surface Conditions” discuss about soil, I think it is best to combine these two sections into one big section by starting off to introduce the condition of soil surface which are moist and friable. In the same section, you can further talk about the important role of Soil Moisture.

“Factors to consider when prescribing seed” can be another relevant section to have for your page. You can discuss different factors such as climatic influences, elevation, timing, soil characteristics and others.

I also think it would be interesting to have a list of who should be involved in preparing for Aerial Seeding project. There are tasks that can be complete ahead of an incident. So who should be considered to be involved? Some of my suggestions are Air Operations, Personnel, Administration, Agency Administrator Commitment and Seed Laws to understand the laws governing the purchase and application of seed in the area. You can use these ideas and elaborate them into bigger paragraphs.

Toward the end of the article, I think it's nice to create another section for “Suggestions or Warnings” to help Aerial seeded technique work. I have done some researches and found some of the ways which include increasing seeding rates to 2.0 million seed per acre, watching for slugs because they can reduce the stand on the headland and more.
