Thanks for your contributions to Rootz Ltd. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because you may have a possible Conflict of Interest. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. Broc (talk) 08:24, 16 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

Conflict of interest?

edit

Welcome to Wikipedia! May I ask what is your relation with Rootz Ltd? You have only been editing pages related to this company. Please note that we requires users with a conflict of interest to publicly disclose it in their user page, and to send the pages they create through the articles for creation process. Please have a look at our conflict of interest guideline and let me know. All the best, Broc (talk) 08:26, 16 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

Hi Broc, thanks for getting in touch. I have done some work for Rootz among other clients and have also made a few edits to unrelated content. While I totally understand the reasons why the article was taken offline, will it help for me to disclose a connection and try to republish what I believe was an impartial article? Thanks again. Squidsquirt (talk) 11:26, 16 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
I have added this to my user page under the header, Conflict of Interest Disclaimer: I am a writer who has worked as a journalist and with clients as a professional writer. While I am not paid to edit Wikipedia pages specifically, in some instances I may be considered as having an interest in specific topics and therefore a connection exists. I strive not to edit with a Conflict of Interest but may request an independent editor to review my edits. Squidsquirt (talk) 12:09, 16 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

Hi, you can just click the button "Submit the draft for review!" on the page.
A reviewer will review it (it can take up to 8 weeks as reviews are done in no specific order) and either:
  • accept the submission and move the article to mainspace
  • decline the submission and provide a comment for improvements.
Please note that, whenever you have a conflict of interest with the topic you are writing about, you must go through the articles for creation procedure and should not publish directly on main space.
This does not mean the page will not be published, it will just be checked by an experienced editor to make sure that it meets Wikipedia's verifiability and notability standards.
I am myself a reviewer, but having already moved the page to draft, I will leave the review to another editor. However, feel free to ask if you would like me to give you a comment on the submission. Broc (talk) 13:53, 16 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
Thank you for the feedback. I'm quite new to this, so any errors were made in good faith and I appreciate your help. Squidsquirt (talk) 14:03, 16 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

Your submission at Articles for creation: Rootz Ltd (company) (May 31)

Your recent article submission has been rejected and cannot be resubmitted. If you have further questions, you can ask at the Articles for creation help desk or use Wikipedia's real-time chat help. The reason left by Mdann52 was: This topic is not sufficiently notable for inclusion in Wikipedia. The comment the reviewer left was: Previous concerns remain. The topic does not meet the notability guidelines linked by Broc, and most of the sourcing was to newswire pieces or press releases, which are not normally considered notable.

Unfortunately, at this point the subject does not appear to be notable enough for inclusion.
