Not cited properly edit

At Auckland University of Technology, please cite the page number as I have done for the other information you added. Use the same format. It is discourteous to refer to a huge document and force the reader to search through it. Thank you. Akld guy (talk) 02:11, 10 August 2017 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for citing the page number. Unfortunately, you have assembled a figure of 92% from the figures in the chart by adding them together. This is what we call WP:SYNTHESIS, which is not permitted. The figures could be cited separately, such as 15% for post-graduate and 77% for bachelor degree. That would be OK, but at this point we run into the problem of what is the point of this data? That would be citing only the SAC-funded EFTs and ignoring the International EFTs. Is there any point in citing half the statistics and leaving out the others? I'll await your reply here, but I'm afraid the entire sentence will have to be removed if there's no resolution. It's just meaningless to cite half the statistics. Akld guy (talk) 02:38, 10 August 2017 (UTC)Reply
