Hi Watchout4snakes! I'm not "bent" on deleting any articles, but the articles I've prodded do not meet the notability guideline for novels. Template: Savannah College of Art and Design

It is not that big of a deal or anything, but there are some college/university navbars that have unique fonts on the heading. The only reason I did it like that, is because that specific font is very recognizable with SCAD. Rtr10 (talk) 04:05, 13 August 2008 (UTC)

Please remember to sign your comments with four tildes (~), which will produce a signature automatically. I couldn't care less about chiropractors; my concern is that you're adding your personal opinions to articles, which violates the neutral point of view and verifiability policies. I think Request for Feedback should be scrapped - not enough response, and it's not clear enough what it's there for, hence why a lot of editors are posting random stuff like the entire contents of new articles. Portal link Bankstown

I cant see why the link to the portal had to be removed from every single article that it was in. Why would it be irrelavent in the city of Bankstown article or the bankstown article. All the articles were related to the city of Bankstown. I believe admin who removed all those links has a grudge against me because he had me blocked once and is doing this to annoy. If the links should be at the bottom of the page then why were they not removed there. Shouldn't they have waited until the portal was deleted. Also why would they be calling it spam when all I am trying to do is contribute to wikipedia and trying to help build on topics about Bankstown and link them up. I think some of the admins on this site a bit narrow minded in some cases. This seems a bit like victimization Adam (talk) 03:04, 5 September 2008 (UTC)

I didn't say it was irrelevant to either of those articles. I just think it should be considered before being inserted automatically into every article that mentions the City of Bankstown as part of a template, and it certainly shouldn't be linked to instead of the City of Bankstown article at the top of the template. I can't comment on the actions of anyone else or whether the portal will or should be deleted. I respect your work on the portal (I've done a lot of work at the WA portal), and think you should have your say at the Australian noticeboard (there's a link on your talk page). The reason I didn't comment on the notice board is because I wasn't actually worried about this being deleted. Also I have come across other temps with the commens media link and portal link in them and no one complains about these. Does that mean you don't mind if it's deleted, or you don't think it will be deleted? Perhaps no one's mentioned the links in those templates because they haven't noticed, or because they make a lot of sense there? I found them somewhere along my travels, I forget which ones they were. I meant that I wasn't concerned about it being deleted but I can see that user Steven is trying to entrap me by undoing all of my edits concerning the portal links and draw me into some kind of edit ware and then get me blocked. I have a feeling that this may be like talking to a brick wall due to the fact that I have been blocked a couple of times by these admins so I think there might be some bias involved. Also if the Bankstown Bunker article and the subject itself is in the City of Bankstown then why is it irrelevant to have the portal link in the article especially when the article is in the portal, its like not having the Portal Military Australia not in an article about the Australian army , regardless of how shameful there history is Adam (talk) 07:47, 5 September 2008 (UTC)

I just didn't see someone looking at the Bankstown Bunker article, then deciding to go to the portal. It seems, to me anyway, just related to the City of Bankstown article and not as much to other articles about things/places in Bankstown. Pleas do not delete the Data Vault modeling page. It is NOT promoting a product. Data Vault modeling is known as common foundational data warehouse modeling architecture. From memory, it read like an advertisement for data vault modelling and your website, where you sell books and training on the subject, which is why it was deleted. I've added another new page with content driven specifically by definition. I still don't understand why I can't reference my book, or my site while Dr Kimball and Bill Inmon have this opportunity for their pages. However, that's niether here nor there. The Data Vault Modeling concepts are in fact public domain, and have been since 2000. I've made the page definitional in nature without any discussions, links, or any other quotes from customers who are using the techniques. ? The page now complains that there are now links, no references, no direct correlation to published material. However I'm in a catch 22. I'm in the process of publishing material, but since I can't link to my forums, or the www.TDAN.com site (where I have published articles), it thinks there are no references. I can rewrite the intro for additional context as requested, but how do I deal with these new "problems" regarding content? These are new ideas that I've been introducing to the world since 2000. Hi Dlinstedt. You need to find references in third-party publications to establish notability. For example, has data vault modelling been reviewed by an industry publication? Have magazine or newspaper articles covered the topic? These are reliable sources in the context of Wikipedia. Forums and blogs generally aren't reliable sources, so aren't much help when establishing notability, but other websites might be if they're independent from you. Satisfying the verifiability and notability policies by referencing these sources will mean the article won't be deleted, and the first and third tags can be removed from the top of the page, so I think that's your first step. Hi AbbandonZK. I tagged the page for deletion because it read like an advertisement for the company and did not establish the company's notability, using this deletion criterion. Jimfbleak was the user who deleted the page, as I don't have access to do that. To have an article on Wikipedia, Madison Amps must meet the notability criteria - for example, there must be multiple independent sources discussing the company. My pages deleted.

Hi, you deleted my page I made about the 1990's Band "Sons of Angels". But I don't see why you should have. I mean, I only made the article because there was already an article about Crush 40 (the band who have an article on this site already, and when you type in Sons of Angels, it takes you to the Crush 40 page). Even though there are already 2 other bands in existence.

The reason why was because Sons of Angels (the Crush 40 guys) had to change their name to Crush 40 because there was already a Sons of Angels band. They were from 1990 to 2001 and they released 2 albums. The article was my own work and I referenced to all the sources available, but out of nowhere you delete the article, possibly without even trying to find information outside of Wiki to find out who they are, and you didn't even give me a proper chance to fix up the article while you were going to delete it!

Hi Mamaluigibob. I do not have access to delete the article, I tagged it for deletion but someone else deleted it. I tagged the article because it did not assert notability - as in, you did not say how this band met the notability criteria. Not every band can qualify for a Wikipedia article; only bands and musicians that can meet this criteria. If the band does meet the criteria, then make sure you cover this if/when recreating the article. In regards to the Dōjin music page, please note your concerns on the talk page of the article. Make sure you avoid personal attacks (i.e. don't call other editors "morons") and assume good faith, as these are important principles when communicating with others on Wikipedia. Hi, I've noticed you trolling the new pages with me and wanted to point out that a lot of the pages you've prodded for deletion can probably actually be speedily deleted - that's my main tool to get the pages that obviously don't belong on Wikipedia off here just a little quicker. Thanks Anafar, what speedy category would you use for Jake Wexler? I mostly only use speedy for people, companies or musicians that don't assert notability, simple vandalism or attack pages. Speedy is definitely preferable for some of the stuff that gets added (like that article), but I feel sometimes I'm stuck with prod if it doesn't fit easily into a speedy category.
