Hello, I think there's a bit of a mixup. I was fixing vandalism, not creating it. 12.34.39.3 (talk) 19:56, 12 November 2010 (UTC)

Yes, sorry about that. I clicked a little too quickly. When I saw what had happened, I backed off to let you finish what you were working on. Sorry again. Some jerk on the Internet (talk) 19:57, 12 November 2010 (UTC)

Small mistake

Hey mate, just to let you know, the recent revision you approved on the 2010 Formula One season page was actually some vandal replacing the table headers with some bogus information. A casual glance does make it look like a legit edit, so you might one to look a tad more carefully next time. Anyway no worries, I've made plenty of mistakes :) P.S. Nice Username ;) QueenCake (talk) 18:38, 16 November 2010 (UTC)

I stand corrected. Thanks for catching it. Some jerk on the Internet (talk) 18:42, 16 November 2010 (UTC)

False vandalism warning

You rollback of my edit here, was not the best. If you would have inspected the edit, you would have seen that the template had been forked, due to incorrect navbar links in the navbox header. I was reversing the fork, and correcting the links. I have reverted your rollback. Thanks! 134.253.26.12 (talk) 21:39, 17 November 2010 (UTC)

Why was my recent edit of the Take That Progress page not constructive? Thanks. Robintetley (talk) 22:25, 17 November 2010 (UTC)

Apologies; I must be experiencing some lag, because neither of those reverts were intended. Time to call it a day. some jerk on the Internet (talk) 22:30, 17 November 2010 (UTC)

Why was the edit of Harriet Wilson's page not constructive? We are doing a class wikiproject and we are trying to upgrade American Woman Writer's pages. I am also trying to get a seperate Our Nig Wiki site up. Do you have any advice? your help would be greatly appriciated Klee09 (talk) 22:28, 3 December 2010 (UTC) klee09 (talk)

I'm very sorry. That was entirely a mistake (an embarrassing one) on my part. I should have looked more closely and acted more slowly. I've undone my revert of your edit; I'm glad you pointed out the error to me so I could make things right. I hope I haven't dissuaded you from contuining to edit. --some jerk on the Internet (talk) 23:10, 3 December 2010 (UTC)

The edits I made to the Joe Kiani page consisted entirely of adding citations/references, starting a proper References section, and correctly formatting a bullet list that was not formatted before...why were they not constructive? Thanks. Cortonwood (talk) 21:09, 17 March 2011 (UTC)

Yikes; another error. I am not on my game right now, it seems. Another editor has contributed to the article in the interim, so I can't do a simple undo, but please do re-add your contributions, and I am very sorry. --some jerk on the Internet (talk) 03:31, 18 March 2011 (UTC)

False positive

The revert on TV2 (Malaysia) was a false positive, check it--182.53.48.177 (talk) 16:53, 19 November 2010 (UTC)

Thank You for help -6jpn850 —Preceding unsigned comment added by 182.53.48.177 (talk) 17:12, 19 November 2010 (UTC)

no vandalism, please leave the info i added

The info i added is totally correct and is from a recent book titled Ed Koch And The Rebuilding of New York City by Jonathan Soffer. The book is about his term as mayor, during which the eleanor bumpurs incident occurred. I don't know how to reference books so that's why i didn't use a ref but the info is definitely correct, it's in the book. Please leave it as is, Thanks

Rollback of holocaust page edit

My edit was not vandalism and had been discussed on the disc page before I made it. Joel Mc (talk) 20:55, 19 November 2010 (UTC)

I just realized that I never responded to this. Yes, I see now that my revert was an error, and I apologize. I'm glad to see that my mistake was quickly undone. Thanks for letting me know about it, so I know to look more carefully in the future. --some jerk on the Internet (talk) 20:59, 3 December 2010 (UTC)

Talkback

Hello, Some jerk on the Internet. You have new messages at Lovetinkle's talk page.
Message added 19:49, 2 December 2010 (UTC). You can remove this notice at any time by removing the {{Talkback}} or {{Tb}} template.

User talk:162.39.187.228

Please disregard my last message to you; I reverted your edit in error. I've undone my revert. Sorry for any confusion I might have caused --some jerk on the Internet (talk) 22:00, 25 January 2011 (UTC)

No problem. I wasn't logged in the at the time. Somebody keeps putting pages of stuff about the county on the local community pages. I've tried in the past to keep it off (most all of it has to do with a school district, roads, etc. which are nowhere near the location). I happened to be checking on something on one of them, and saw he had posted it all again.Squad51 (talk) 22:03, 25 January 2011 (UTC)

My edit

I dont know what's going on with the 39 clues page. The official black book of buried secrets said that justin bieber is a janus.when i tried to revert what igloo did by adding back what the other person put,I got a notice on my talk page saying it was unconstructive. I didnt try to do anything wrong and i dont want to look bad when applying in a year or two to be an adminstrator. Please take a look at this.Thanks--Nyswimmer (talk) 00:28, 8 February 2011 (UTC)

I'll take a look right now, and if I've made a mistake I'll correct it. --some jerk on the Internet (talk) 00:29, 8 February 2011 (UTC)
OK. I've done a quick scan, and it does look like I reverted your edits and sent you the message in error. I've undone my reverts, and will remove my message from your talk page. Sorry for the confusion. --some jerk on the Internet (talk) 00:38, 8 February 2011 (UTC)

That's ok.Good luck editing:)--Nyswimmer (talk) 00:47, 8

Dr. Busker

For your information, the recent edit for the page 'Dr. Busker' was 100% honest and true. I suggest you do your research before condemning an edit containing a 'naughty' word. You can't expect every article on wikipedia to be completely free of illicit or offensive content, as nearly every subject is covered on this website, and somethings in life are abit naughty. I can't expect you to know everything about everything, but I think you should stop behaving like it. You don't appear to have any idea on Dr. Busker, whereas I do, and I will be editing that page again with the 100% truth and nothing but the truth. Check it out sometime. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Quail123 (talkcontribs) 20:35, 15 March 2011 (UTC)

I have undone my revert, as I believe I made it in error. --some jerk on the Internet (talk) 20:40, 15 March 2011 (UTC)

Vandalism on Pawtucket Pat redirect page

I'm not sure why you identified my edit as vandalism. Pawtucket Pat isn't discussed anywhere in the Family Guy page. The episode that this character appears in is the episode Wasted Talent. To me it only makes sense that this redirect goes to the Wasted Talent page. Ultratone85 (talk) 01:07, 17 March 2011 (UTC)

You're correct. Totally my mistake, and I apologize. I've undone the revert. --some jerk on the Internet (talk) 12:20, 17 March 2011 (UTC)

my edit

got your message that it had been reverted - check it and you'll see I actually was undoing previous vandalism, which you have now reinstated! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2.25.151.197 (talk) 23:53, 30 August 2011 (UTC)

I took a look at the article in question's edit history. It does appear that you were acting in good faith, and that I was overly hasty in rolling back your edit, and I apologize for any misunderstanding on that count. Having said that, my revert seems to have corrected some errors. Foremost is the name above the picture of the book cover (Boy in the Striped Bananas vs. Pyjamas), but also, mother and father are not proper nouns in the article's context, and so shouldn't be capitalized. Again, I apologize for any misunderstanding or hard feelings. Please let me know if you have any more questions, and do continue editing. --some jerk on the Internet (talk) 01:58, 31 August 2011 (UTC)

edits zipeprol

why does that happen so often, do you use a tool that gives false positives? 70.137.143.254 (talk) 14:22, 7 October 2011 (UTC)

I do use a tool that helps me monitor recent changes and quickly revert vandalism. In your case, I was attempting to go back to a previous edit to another article in order to revert the unconstructive edit there, and clicked the "revert" button before the tool had completely made it back to the previous page. The error was mine. Again, I apologize for any confusion. --some jerk on the Internet (talk) 14:24, 7 October 2011 (UTC)

Agony and vandalism warning

My edit to "Agony" was not vandalism, and should not have been reverted. The character was NEVER called Agony in any Marvel publication - it's a name fans made up with absolutely zero legitimacy to it. 86.147.236.168 (talk) 13:30, 14 October 2011 (UTC)

[left on 86's talk page]

I just read your message on my talk page and took another look at the Agony article. I don't know enough about the comic to make a call as to which version is more correct, but on closer look I don't think you were trying to vandalize the article. I've undone my reverts and left the article for you and other editors to reach consensus on. My apologies for the confusion. --some jerk on the Internet (talk) 13:37, 14 October 2011 (UTC)
Thanks 86.147.236.168 (talk) 13:37, 14 October 2011 (UTC)

My Forfar edit

Can you please explain why this is not constructive? I added detailed information on the company that was Forfar's main employer for most of the twentieth century cited from 4 seperate sources Dunarc (talk) 14:13, 14 October 2011 (UTC)

You're absolutely right. The mistake was completely mine, and I apologize. I've rolled back my revert of your addition to the article. Sorry again for any confusion. I'm going to remove the warning template from your talk page now. --some jerk on the Internet (talk) 14:16, 14 October 2011 (UTC)

No problem. looking again it looks like the word camp in the early lines had split for some reason when I saved my change. Thanks for fixing this so quickly.

Best wishes Dunarc Dunarc (talk) 14:20, 14 October 2011 (UTC)

Blanker

I reverted your edit here as he was the page creator and apparently wants it blanked. Calabe1992 20:53, 1 December 2011 (UTC)

Whoops. Good catch. --some jerk on the Internet (talk) 20:53, 1 December 2011 (UTC)
