Kevin Mendoza edit

No. The player was there to trial with the junior teams not with the seniors. That said nothing is confirmed as to whether or not he will actually be signed. But even if you was to sign he would still not warrent his own wiki page as he has yet to go pro or yet to play a game with a senior squad.

Speedy deletion nomination of Omar Gonzales edit

A tag has been placed on Omar Gonzales requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. December 2009 edit

Please do not add content without citing verifiable and reliable sources, as you did to El Salvador national under-17 football team. Before making any potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Eeekster (talk) 08:31, 1 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

Unreferenced BLPs edit

Hello Soccafanatic7! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 3 of the articles that you created are tagged as Unreferenced Biographies of Living Persons. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. Football in El Salvador template edit

you created the "Football in El Salvador" template, but the actual page's name is "Futbol Salvadoreno". wiki rules say to use english, except for rare exceptions. of all 200+ countries, hundreds of languages and dozens of sports, only your "Futbol Salvadoreno" and user Chris Edgemon's "Futbol Mexicano" have pages named in spanish. i know it doesn't affect navigation, but it would improve how templates appear in cats/subcats. having all templates follow uniform names, just improves categorization. i don't know how to create an english page version (and redirect from the spanish version), so i'm asking if you could. A tag has been placed on User:Soccafanatic7 requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section U5 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to consist of writings, information, discussions, and/or activities not closely related to Wikipedia's goals. Please note that Wikipedia is not a free Web hosting service. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such pages may be deleted at any time.

Nomination of Oscar Araujo for deletion edit

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Oscar Araujo is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Oscar Araujo until a consensus is reached, and anyone, including you, is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.

Proposed deletion of Víctor Ramírez (soccer) edit

The article Víctor Ramírez (soccer) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Does not meet WP:NFOOTY (USL Second Division is not WP:FPL-listed), can't find sources to satisfy WP:GNG.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
