Image:BruBabalogo.gif listed for deletion edit

Dear uploader: The media file you uploaded as Image:BruBabalogo.gif has been listed for speedy deletion because you selected a copyright license type implying some type of restricted use, such as for non-commercial use only, or for educational use only or for use on Wikipedia by permission. While it might seem reasonable to assume that such files can be freely used on Wikipedia, a non-profit website, this is in fact not the case. Please do not upload any more files with these restrictions on them, because content on Wikipedia needs to be compatible with the GNU Free Documentation License, which allows anyone to use it for any purpose, commercial or non-commercial.

If you created this media file and want to use it on Wikipedia, you may re-upload it, but use the license {{GFDL-self}} to license it under the GFDL, or {{cc-by-sa-2.5}} to license it under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike license, or use {{PD-self}} to release it into the public domain.

If you did not create this media file but want to use it on Wikipedia, there are two ways to proceed. First, you may choose one of the fair use tags from this list if you believe one of those fair use rationales applies to this file. Second, you may want to contact the copyright holder and request that they make the media available under a free license.

If you have any questions please ask at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you. BanyanTree 14:32, 28 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

Rugby edit

Hi Smoneill, Nice work creating the Brussels club page. Be sure to check out the Rugby project, and please don't hesitate in adding or creating more articles on Belgium rugby, as at the moment there are not many at all (see Belgium national rugby union team). Cheers. Cvene64 02:30, 1 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

Mat Hocken edit

Hi Smoneill, nice work on expanding this page.

The info box quotes Hull but this just goes to a dab page. Can you give some idication as to which article it should point to? There appears to be no Rugby Union team articles that relate to Hull only 2 Rugby League articles.

Luke Fitzgerald edit

Please do not remove AfD notices, see Wikipedia:Articles for deletion. It was not a speedy delete tag and should not be removed. If you think the article should be kept then go to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Luke Fitzgerald and let your thoughts be known, as I did. Ahmad Black edit

Another editor has added the "{{prod}}" template to the article Ahmad Black, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but the editor doesn't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and has explained why in the article (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Notability). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia or discuss the relevant issues at its talk page. If you remove the {{prod}} template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Unreferenced BLPs edit

Hello Smoneill! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 3 of the articles that you created are tagged as Unreferenced Biographies of Living Persons. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. if you were to bring these articles up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 942 article backlog. Once the articles are adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the list:

Speedy deletion nomination of Kevin Weaver edit

Hello Smoneill,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Kevin Weaver for deletion, because it seems to be inappropriate for a variety of reasons.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. St8fan (talk) 02:26, 1 September 2015 (UTC)Reply
