Lendore Isles edit

You have stated that the primary sources template is not applicable to the article Lendore Isles. Can you explain how the references cited in the article are related to the subject matter, as there are no footnotes to explain how they relate to its content.--Gavin Collins (talk) 12:32, 3 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

I never said the article was complete, nor did I remove the in-text citation template as I believe that is something that needs to be worked on in the Greyhawk-related articles I have seen. Your use of that particular template is constructive. However, the majority of your editing of Greyhawk content seems to arise from your perception that the material has no place in Wikipedia, a view which I find ridiculous given the standards, and am not willing to discuss.

Notability and Clean-up edit

Hey, thanks for coming in and adding to some of the articles I was working on! I am going to have to check out 'Heroic Worlds'. Web Warlock (talk) 17:21, 9 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

No problem (except for my wife who was mad at me for staying up until 2 AM reading wiki docs and talk pages on notability). I happened to see someone else use 'Heroic Worlds' as a ref somewhere and then remembered I had seen it in the stacks at the library where I work. It's a good find for any rpg'er and especially helpful in our endeavors. --Smcmillan (talk) 17:36, 9 January 2008 (UTC)Reply
I just found it at a library that is on my way home from work. I might check it out later, right now I still have about 50 White Dwarf magazines to go through then hit some of the others I have. I'd also like to use Dragon for non-TSR/non-WotC games like Chill, GURPS and Vampire. Web Warlock (talk) 17:48, 9 January 2008 (UTC)Reply
Great! I'm probably going to be concentrating on adding 'Heroic Worlds' refs to as many pages as I can find that need them and it can support. If you need copies of any reviews in Dragon I have a pretty decent collection of old (and new) issues. I can scan the reviews and format them as a pdf to send you. --Smcmillan (talk) 18:03, 9 January 2008 (UTC)Reply
Thanks! But no need, I have the Dragon Archive on CD and am most likely to concentrate on the first 200 issues when they were still covering other games. The rest I have in boxes and I have been having a good time going through them all. Web Warlock (talk) 18:08, 9 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Heroic Worlds citations edit

In several edits ([1] [2]), you added citations to "Lawrence Schick. Heroic Worlds (Prometheus Books, 1991)." Thanks! We always need more citations. I do have some suggestions to make the citations even more valuable: 1. including the page numbers for each citation would make it much easier for other editors to check them. 3. You might considering using Template:Citation to generate standardized citations. — Alan De Smet | Talk 00:00, 20 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

Thanks. I was doing some fast additions just to get the citations in there. I'll go back and put in the page #'s when I get the chance.--Smcmillan (talk) 05:24, 20 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

Welcome back! edit

Long time no see, where've ya been? :) We've been up to a lot - check out all the new resources at the D&D Wikiproject page. We've also been working on promoting articles to GA and FA status, plus trying to save articles from the "notability police" deletion squads. ;) Your continued work on identifying and adding sources to articles should help out both of these goals a lot. :) BOZ (talk) 16:12, 4 January 2009 (UTC)Reply
