Abdulhussain Abdulreda edit

A tag has been placed on Abdulhussain Abdulreda, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing no content to the reader. Please note that external links, "See also" section, book reference, category tag, template tag, interwiki link, rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article don't count as content. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, you can request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material. To do this, affix the template {{hangon}} to the page and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Speedy deletion nomination of Kira Lynne edit

A tag has been placed on Kira Lynne requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article, which appears to be about a real person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. If this is the first page that you have created, then you should read the guide to writing your first article.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. PirateSmackKArrrr! 19:22, 18 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Abdullah Al-Huwail edit

The article Abdullah Al-Huwail has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Al-Arabi is a Second Division team, which means that the subject of the article likely doesn't meet WP:ATHLETE.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. NW (Talk) 00:24, 9 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

Please do not remove PROD's without stating your reasons like you did with this article. When removing a PROD state your reasons in your edit summary, or if there insufficient space, on the article's talk page. I would also like to invite to take part in the AfD (articles for deletion) discussion for this article, found here: Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Abdullah Al-Huwail. Cheers. File permission problem with File:Mutlaq Al-Thubeiti.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading File:Mutlaq Al-Thubeiti.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file agreed to license it under the given license.

If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. multichill (talk) 10:48, 27 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Saudi Premier League 1986-87 edit

Thank you for experimenting with Wikipedia. Your test worked, and the page that you created has been or soon will be deleted. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you want to do. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Naming convention for season articles edit

Hello,

since you seem to be busy with creating season articles for various Saudi leagues as of lately, I thought I'd give you a quick heads-up about the naming convention for season articles in general. These are named after the pattern <season> <competition>, e.g. 2009–10 Saudi Professional League. In other words, the season is placed in front of the competition name. We once had it the other way round, but this was eventually changed per this consensus in summer 2009. So, it would be nice if you could move any articles still named with the competition name in front to the current format. Thank you, and have a nice day! :-) --Soccer-holicI hear voices in my head... 09:33, 5 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

Locations edit

Ah, yes, I understand what you mean here. I would put down the example you gave me, but put in a note. This is something I did in the Qatari League.

What I would do is put this code next to the stadium and/or city - probably both to be honest. 1

At the end of the section, do the following:

1 Although this team currently plays home games in Riyadh, they do represent the city of ......

I guess there is no harm of showing the relevant city on the map, I won't challenge it, but if you write a note, then it gives a sense of history to the league.

Is this the first season they have moved?

If you take a look at 2011 Thai Premier League, an article I'm heavly involved in, then you can see the kind of template i have going. Can write down stadium changes, name changes, anything really aslong as you use the 1 followed by 2, 3 and so on for as many examples as you have. In general, you can then follow the history of the league.

If you are serious about doing history for all the leagues, then I'm happy to help, just like we did in the Saudi Premier League.

Best Regards

Adam

P.s - look at this in edit mode, otherwise you won't see the code correctly

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 18:24, 17 January 2023 (UTC)Reply
