British Isles edit

No worries. There's extremists on both sides of the BI usage debate. One side wishes BI bannised from Wikipedia, while the other wishes the complete opposite. I prefer a trade-off: We should allow BI usage in exchange for pipelinking Republic of Ireland as Ireland or we pipelink BI as British-Irish Isles in exchange for unpipelinking RoI. Trust me, I'm not angry with anybody (just the current situation, on these BI/RoI related articles). GoodDay (talk) 23:54, 22 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Yep, in the past - I've been called an Irish Nationalist and a British Nationalist; I believe more blockings & less page protections are on the horizon, for those articles - the fun days might be numbered. GoodDay (talk) 00:06, 23 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Interesting (classical period), all roads lead to Rome. GoodDay (talk) 00:10, 23 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Oh well, that's how it goes. GoodDay (talk) 00:17, 23 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

You're always free to give an opinon. GoodDay (talk) 00:27, 23 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Irelands edit

'Tis OK. It's good to see people are discussing these topics, instead of edit warring over them. Jolly good, indeed. GoodDay (talk) 15:04, 30 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

'Till then. GoodDay (talk) 17:38, 30 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

RfC edit

To be honest, Skipper, I think you would be wiser to close the RfC. It's the same people going round in exactly the same circles as in all the previous discussions. The diehards are only getting more vocal, and outsiders are understandably nervous about venturing an opinion and getting savaged. The RM will (hopefully) be closed soon and then maybe we can have a cooling-off period before the next round. Scolaire (talk) 15:31, 30 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Personally, I've found the RfC useful, Skipper. I've come to appreciate further, that Republic of Ireland & Ireland articles won't be moved. The consensus to move, is simply not present. PS- Hope to see ya back, soon. GoodDay (talk) 16:15, 31 August 2008 (UTC)Reply
